Snowplow Accident Left Jeremy Renner With Over 30 Broken Bones

This has been a very difficult experience for Renner, but he is fortunate to be alive.

On Saturday morning, Jeremy Renner gave his fans an update regarding his health status and more information about the extent of his injuries after the recent terrifying Snowplow accident.

If you recall, Renner, best known for his roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise, was injured in a snowplow accident. He was taken to the hospital, and at that time, it was revealed that he was in “critical but stable” condition. 

The tragic accident happened when the actor was preparing the road for his family to leave after a severe New Year’s Eve storm around a quarter mile from where they stayed at.

Unfortunately, the Snowcat, which is used to clear snow, accidentally ran over one of his legs, causing major blood loss injuries. It’s a blessing that a nearby doctor was able to tourniquet his leg until help arrived.

Renner even needed a rescue aircraft to go to the hospital. He underwent surgery and was being treated for severe chest trauma, orthopedic injuries, and other ailments in the Reno region.

But it seemed like aside from the said major injuries, there was more to it after the “Hawkeye” star revealed on his Instagram account that he suffered from 30 broken bones!

“Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular new years,” his caption reads. Renner can be seen in the photo trying to stretch his legs with the help of a doctor.

“Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love ❤️ I want to thank EVERYONE for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I …. Much love and appreciation to you all.”

“These 30 plus broken bones will mend , grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens . Love and blessings to you all 🙏❤️🙏,” he concluded.

His Instagram post was well-received by fans, who immediately sent their thoughts and prayers to him and wished him a speedy recovery. His Marvel co-stars, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth, also commented on the post with their own get-well-soon message.

“That’s one tough mf’er. Has anyone even checked on the snowcat??? Sending so much love ❤️,” Evans wrote, while Hemsworth commented, “Your a champion mate! We love you.”

Despite the fact that snowplow accidents seldom make headlines, they may be very hazardous. And while this is not the first injury Renner has suffered, it is anticipated that he will fully recover.

Renner is a highly brilliant actor; therefore, it is heartbreaking to see him going through such a difficult time. We wish him a speedy and full recovery so that he may go back to work.
