This is a disturbing new piece of information about the turmoil surrounding why the two left the "RHUGT" set much too soon.
More unsettling details are emerging about why Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo abruptly departed “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” during the show’s fourth season production than the earlier reports have revealed.
As we previously reported, Glanville goes beyond when she and Manzo are partying, kissing her repeatedly without her consent. The two housewives shot scenes in Marrakech, Morocco, at that time. However, there was more disturbing information surrounding this incident.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum allegedly groped Caroline’s breast and vagina during one encounter, according to information obtained by Page Six. In addition, while filming a party at a private residence, Brandi even “stuck her tongue down [Manzo’s] throat.”
Soon after, Manzo, Glanville, former “RHONY” star Alex McCord, and a fourth cast member—who has not yet been named—all walked to the restroom together. But that’s not the shocking part; it was when Glanville reportedly “pinned Caroline against the wall” after she shut the restroom door.
When McCord noticed Manzo was uncomfortable with the situation, she let her out of the restroom by unlocking the door. We all knew Glanville had a drinking issue in the past and based on various accounts, she seemed drunk at the time since they were drinking.
The whole scenario is obviously distressing, and even though the act didn’t happen on camera because it took place in a bathroom, cast members’ live microphones captured the conversation. Even the recording disturbed everyone on the staff.
These startling details come after Peacock and Shed Media released a joint statement to PEOPLE regarding the issue surrounding the two housewives’ early exit and previous reports stating the reason behind their departure.
“The safety and security of cast and crew while shooting is extremely important, and we take all reports seriously,” their joint statement reads. “In this situation, production immediately launched a comprehensive review and is taking appropriate action.”
If you recall, the incident between them became the subject of an ongoing internal investigation, which is now already been completed after attorneys interviewed cast and crew members.
It is disappointing that the show’s producers permitted this type of behavior since it is wholly wrong. Glanville ought to have received an immediate rebuke and instruction to halt her improper conduct. Manzo was made uncomfortable by her acts and felt violated as it was.
There is absolutely no justification for Glanville’s actions, and it is difficult to determine what the reality star was thinking when she groped Caroline’s privates. Was she trying to be funny? Was she attempting to anger her up? Or did she simply behave rashly?
Even if reality television is all about drama, personal boundaries should still be respected. Glanville crossed the line, and she has to take responsibility for her conduct.
