Ingredients
- ½ pound Ground Beef
- 1 teaspoon Oregano, Dried
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 small – 2 2/5″ diameter Tomato
- 8 inner leaf Romaine Lettuce
- ½ cup Grated cheddar cheese
- ¼ teaspoon Salt, Sea Salt
- ⅛ teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
- Add the oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to a mixing bowl with the ground beef.
- With your hands, mix all ingredients, then divide into four equal patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the beef patties to the pan until golden brown and thoroughly cooked for about 8 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the heat and sprinkle 1/4 of the cheese on each patty.
- To serve, arrange each patty on a lettuce leaf. Add a tomato slice on top. Add the final lettuce leaf on top, then secure it with a toothpick.
