Tom and Raquel had been having an affair for several months prior to the infidelity scandal becoming public, according to sources Page Six was able to contact. Despite Tom’s long-term romance with Ariana, they apparently want to be together.

It was also revealed that Ariana was “blindsided by the cheating” and that she felt “heartbroken” and betrayed by Raquel, whom she thought of as a friend. “Ariana is heartbroken,” the sources stressed. “Ariana was there for Raquel during the James [Kennedy] breakup.”

Moreover, it was said that she learned of the alleged infidelity on Wednesday in Los Angeles while she was at Tom’s performance with his band, “Tom Sandoval & The MOST Extras.” He apparently pays for the band’s costs out of his own cash, and they are scheduled to perform tonight.
