Although the two had been close friends for a long time, recently, things have been tense.
Recently, the “Vanderpump Rules” star Scheana Shay was served with a restraining order by her now former friend and co-star, Raquel Leviss, in which the latter claims that Scheana punched her, resulting in a black eye.
However, Shay is now breaking her silence along with her legal team, denying such claims and calling Raquel’s story a “fabrication.” They even named her co-star a “liar” and “cheat.”
“This case is a fabrication by a known liar and a cheat who has betrayed everyone close to her. Scheana never punched Raquel, period,” Scheana’s lawyer Neama Rahmani, President of West Coast Trial Lawyers, said in a statement exclusively to US Magazine on Thursday.
“The supposed dark markings around her left eye have been there for months,” their statement continued. “Neither Scheana nor other cast members want anything to do with Raquel going forward. The judge has only heard a one-sided account of what happened, and we look forward to presenting the full and true story at the March 29 hearing.”
Not only did her legal counsel think Raquel’s injuries on the alleged attack were fake, but her actual friends, Kael Ramsey-Ackerson and Jamie Lynne, also called her out about it, saying that the black eye was indeed fake.
Starting with Kael, who posted a photo and videos of Raquel’s bare face on his Instagram page, claiming that she already had a black eye before her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” data-preserver-spaces=”true”>with Andy Cohen.
“It’s not about just coming for someone who is my best friend but it is you coming for someone who gave everything to protect you, be there for you, and support you when everyone else didn’t. I can’t sit back and watch you create narratives to save your own ass while trying to bring someone else down as a deflection,” he wrote at that time.
For Jamie’s part, she likewise went into great detail about all that Scheana had done for Raquel, including giving her a place to live when she had nowhere else to go and being her “biggest supporter.” Her friend also wishes that the former queen would “redirect everything inward.”
As we previously reported, Raquel released photos of her injuries from Scheana’s alleged attack after knowing that she had an affair with their friend, Ariana Madix’s then-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, and subsequently filed a restraining order against Shay.
According to that court document, on March 2 at around 1:30 in the morning in New York, Shay reportedly shoved Raquel against a brick wall and struck her in the face, causing injuries to the left side of her eye and the back of her head.
With that, the reality star included four pictures of her injuries in her court document, including one showing a vertical cut behind her left forehead and another showing a bruise on the inside of her left eye.
It is challenging to determine with certainty what transpired between Scheana and Raquel at this time. Although Shay has denied giving her a black eye, she hasn’t provided any concrete evidence.
Moreover, Shay may be speaking the truth, and the entire situation may have been a misunderstanding. However, it’s also likely that Shay is lying and actually intentionally injured Raquel. What occurred between these two women will only become apparent with time. We can only make assumptions for now.
