Servings: 4 servings

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 30 minutes

Total time: 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground turkey
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted butter – divided
  • 6 cloves Garlic – minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh rosemary
  • 1 tsp Sage
  • ¼ tsp Nutmeg
  • ½ can Pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup Water
  • 5 oz Parmesan cheese – shredded
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a hot skillet, melt half of the butter. Cook ground turkey until brown and season with salt and pepper. Set aside once the meat has finished cooking.
  2. Add the remaining butter to the skillet. Add your garlic and toast for 30 seconds or until fragrant, being careful not to burn. Combine the sage, rosemary, and nutmeg. Add the heavy cream and pumpkin puree. Stir until combined, then slowly add water until desired consistency is reached.
  3. Stir in your shredded parmesan cheese, reserving some for garnish. Stir frequently over medium heat until the cheese is completely melted. Place back the ground turkey—season with salt and pepper to taste (if necessary).
  4. Garnish with parmesan cheese and rosemary and serve with noodles or noodle substitute of choice. Enjoy!

How to Store the Keto Turkey Alfredo

First, you can allow the dish to cool completely before refrigerating it. This will help to prevent bacteria from growing. Second, place the turkey alfredo in an airtight container. This will keep it fresh and keep it from drying out.
