He refuses to identify his sexuality, but he insisted he's "not not gay."

In Emily Ratajkowski’s podcast with Diplo, they discussed his feelings towards the internet as he ages, his relationship, and his sexuality. The DJ is the first cis white male to appear in Emily’s podcast. Ratajkowski was the first to bring up Diplo’s sexual orientation early into the episode.

Thomas Wesley, better known by his stage name Diplo, has stated that he is not gay, despite receiving oral sex from other men. He also admitted that he was 90% certain that a man gave him a blow job.

The DJ revealed in Emily Ratajkowski High Low podcast that he isn’t “aroused by men that much,” though he noted, “I’m sure I’ve gotten a blow job from a guy before. … For sure. 100 [percent], yeah.” The model then asked Diplo whether he had a “particular memory,” to which he responded cautiously. “They’re a couple guys…I could date, life partner-wise,” Diplo says.

“I’ve gotten a lot of blow jobs, but I don’t know,” he said. “I mean, getting a blow job is not that gay, I think.” Ratajkowski laughed and said, “I don’t know. You tell me?” Diplo believes that getting a blow job from another male is not gay as long as they don’t look each other in the eyes. Is that possible?

“We should talk about what you said to me last night, which is that you’re a little gay,” she recounted. “You want to cut right into that?” he asked. “I was really into the social media [questions].”

While they continued to discuss TikTok and Instagram, Diplo remarked on the “hot” woodchopping men that frequently appeared on his page. “They’re hot guys. I don’t know if that’s gonna be the thing that’s gonna send me over to the gay side totally,” he joked, asking whether TikTok “tells you that you’re gay.”

The “Gone Girl” actress said, “You should be happy. … I could just be talking to you only about your relationships to women. I like that you’re a little flexible.” He then clarified: “I think the best answer I have is I’m not not gay.

After his declaration that he is “more of a vibe man… than gender,” the DJ went on to discuss how “the temperature of our culture has changed” and how guys are becoming more “fluid.”

“When I was young, you had gay kids at school and gay cousins or whatever, but it was different than it is now. I thought it was, like, weird to be gay.” We like Diplo’s openness regarding his sexual background. Perhaps, this will help more men feel at ease with themselves.
