“I forgot about it," she said.

The “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Gizelle Bryant does not feel any remorse over the fact that she did not speak up about the infidelity claims that were made against Juan Dixon, the husband of her best friend Robyn Dixon.

“I’m going to support my friend,” she exclusively tells PEOPLE. “It was just not really my story to tell,” says the mother of three, while promoting her appearance in the upcoming third season of “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.”

Bryant continued by saying that the event had occurred in the far past and that it had been so long since she had ever considered it. “I forgot about it, to be quite honest,” Bryant says. “I think people think we film 24-7, 365 days a year. We don’t! And that situation was like, months and months prior to us filming.”

She also makes the point that rehashing old conflicts is not her style, and it would not have made any sense for Robyn to do so, saying, “People need to understand, we film in a vacuum. We film certain months. And it’s about what’s happening in those months.”

“Robyn and Juan were at a great place — I mean, she was planning her wedding! I didn’t get why everybody was like, ‘She should have talked about it because it happened.’ I don’t want to bring up when my boyfriend cheated on me in high school. But y’all want me to?”

Robyn addressed Juan’s infidelity allegation that he had an affair with another woman during the pandemic during the season seven reunion of Potomac, which was broadcast earlier this month. Juan’s allegation was made during the pandemic. “There was no affair. He communicated with her — which he shouldn’t have — and that was it.

“There was no relationship, no affair, no dating, and nothing physical,” she told host Andy Cohen. Gizelle, who co-hosts the “Reasonably Shady” podcast with Robyn, provided an update on the freshly remarried pair to The U.S. Sun.

“Oh, they’re great. They’re really doing good,” the mother of three said. “Robyn is tough and she has dealt with a lot. And [they] have been together since they were in high school, so yeah, they are fine and they have gotten through it.”

Robyn and Juan, who had been in love since high school and tied the knot for the first time in 2005 but later divorced, chose not to let the turmoil get in the way of their happy ending. During their second wedding, which took place on August 24, 2022 at The Bayfront Club in Edgemere, Maryland, the couple walked down the aisle. They were accompanied by their sons Corey, 14, and Carter, 13, who were both present.

The private ceremony was documented by Bravo cameras and was featured in the show’s seventh season finale. Yet, in contrast to the weddings of prior seasons of “Real Housewives,” none of the cast members, not even Bryant, were invited. “I don’t even know if I want a wedding. I don’t know if I need one — like, a traditional wedding.

I’m going to keep it super simple,” Robyn said on RHOP. “The thought of an actual wedding and all the pomp and circumstances that come with it, that doesn’t excite me. It just feels more special to do it privately, without worrying about everyone else and how they perceive it.”

For the time being, Gizelle is participating in the third season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, which will be made available to stream on Peacock beginning on March 23.
