Supporters were not happy with Dubrow's "pet project" treatment of Kirschenheiter.

Fans criticized the “Real Housewives of Orange Country” star Heather Dubrow for acting like a wealthy savior and feigning superior judgment in fashion and style. She also compared the bedrooms of Gina Kirschenheiter’s children to college dorm rooms.

In episode 11, Dubrow arrives at their fellow housewife’s place with a few clothes to help Kirschenheiter look suitable for her upcoming skin-line project. Dubrow went through Kirschenheiter’s closet and asked her to get rid of several outfits, including her wedding gown and prom dress.

Heather stated, “Gina is on an upswing. She’s launching a business, and I know what that’s like. Gina needs her clothes to reflect all those changes.” For this to occur, some of her components had to be removed. Kirschenheiter did not want to dispose of her wedding dress because it held fond memories of her ex-husband. But Dubrow persuaded her to donate it to another individual.

While the two appeared to be developing a friendship, fans felt it was more of a Dubrow project. She referred to herself as “fairy God-Heather” in a confessional video she made while searching Kirschenheiter’s wardrobe.

In addition to serving as a makeover specialist for Kirschenheiter, Dubrow also served as a mediator and marriage counselor for Dr. Jennifer Armstrong. In episode 11 of “RHOC,” she welcomed Armstrong and her husband, Ryne Holliday, to dinner at her home.

The doctor’s wife desired a mediator to demonstrate what a successful marriage looked like to Holliday. This motivated Dubrow to offer assistance, citing her happily ever after with her husband, Terry Dubrow. Gina is Heather’s pet project,” the “RHOC” viewers criticize Heather Dubrow for treating Gina Kirschenheiter like a charity case.

The next episode of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” will run on Bravo next Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. ET.
