Robin Dole's Early Life
American citizen Robin Dole was born in Kansas on October 15, 1954. Robin is the sole child of her deceased parents, Robert Dole and Phyllis Holden. Robin’s mother, Phyllis, an occupational therapist, passed away on April 22, 2008. She was raised in Kansas and Washington, DC. Later, on December 5, 2021, her father, Bob Dole, an American politician, attorney, and Senate Majority Leader, also passed away from lung cancer.
When she was five, Robin accompanied her father on his campaigns. Although it was not her formal position, she always tried her best. When her parents divorced on January 11, 1972, she was 18 years old.
Robin Dole's Education
Robin Dole graduated with a BA in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 1988 from Ithaca College in New York. She is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis with an MS and a post-professional fellowship in pediatric physical therapy in 1995. (1)
Robin received her EdD in Child and Youth Studies, Exceptional Education, and Special Services at Nova Southeastern University in Florida in 2000. 2009 saw her graduate with a post-professional doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston, Massachusetts’s MGH Institute of Health Professions.
Robin Dole's Personal Life
There is no information on Robin Dole’s lover or husband because she has kept her love life private. As her father passed away, her husband’s absence sparked a tremendous social media response. After graduating from Virginia Tech, Robin worked in various positions, including lobbyist and secretary. She also spent a year as a secretary for the Republican National Committee. Robin Dole has held several jobs at Widener University throughout her career. She has served as the College of Health and Human Services interim dean at Widener University since January 2018. Since 1995, she has also worked as the dean of the Human Service Professional School.
Robin’s work and experiences as a researcher and pediatric physical therapist are directly connected to her research interests. She has worked with numerous physical therapy education institutions to teach the pediatric curriculum. Throughout her research, Robin looked into critical thinking, education, and knowledge translation issues.
She also works with Widener University’s Institute for Physical Therapy Education. Her study centers on numerous aspects of leadership, service learning, and civic participation connected to the curriculum.
