American citizen Robin Dole was born in Kansas on October 15, 1954. Robin is the sole child of her deceased parents, Robert Dole and Phyllis Holden. Robin’s mother, Phyllis, an occupational therapist, passed away on April 22, 2008. She was raised in Kansas and Washington, DC. Later, on December 5, 2021, her father, Bob Dole, an American politician, attorney, and Senate Majority Leader, also passed away from lung cancer.
When she was five, Robin accompanied her father on his campaigns. Although it was not her formal position, she always tried her best. When her parents divorced on January 11, 1972, she was 18 years old.

After graduating from Virginia Tech, Robin worked in various positions, including lobbyist and secretary. She also spent a year as a secretary for the Republican National Committee.
