Robin’s mother, Phyllis, an occupational therapist, passed away on April 22, 2008. She was raised in Kansas and Washington, DC. Later, on December 5, 2021, her father, Bob Dole, an American politician, attorney, and Senate Majority Leader, also passed away from lung cancer.

When she was five, Robin accompanied her father on his campaigns. Although it was not her formal position, she always tried her best. When her parents divorced on January 11, 1972, she was 18 years old.

Robin Dole graduated with a BA in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 1988 from Ithaca College in New York. She is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis with an MS and a post-professional fellowship in pediatric physical therapy in 1995. (1)
