Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 small head of Cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 Bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 Onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tsp Grated fresh ginger
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Green onions, sliced for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked.
- Add the sliced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet and toss everything together. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is wilted and slightly browned.
- Pour the soy sauce over the cabbage and beef mixture and toss everything together until well-coated—season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with sliced green onions, if desired, and serve hot.
