Prince William’s trip to Poland was mainly under wraps, so it was quite a surprise when he dined at Buetero, a gay restaurant in Warsaw. On Wednesday evening, the future king of England observed dining at the establishment, which bills itself on Facebook and Instagram as a queer space and inclusive bistro. William dined with a group of Kensington Palace employees, as evidenced by these images snapped by a local. By eating with them, Prince William shocked lucky diners at the Butero Bistro in Poland on Wednesday evening.
Pictures shot at Butero depicted Prince William casually dressed in a button-down shirt, seated at a table with palace workers, and a waiter leaning forward to take his order. The Daily Mail reports that the prince ordered a £7.50 (\$9.22) Kanapka w chace, a Polish sandwich with pulled pork paired with potatoes and garlic mayonnaise.
The Prince of Wales asked about joining the Palace staff at Buetero, according to a source for the news organization. “He asked what they were doing before requesting to join them,” the source stated. According to all reports, the evening was fantastic, and the crew greatly appreciated his invitation to join them.

Pawe Zasim, the owner of Buetero, told the source that it was a complete surprise to see a royal family member enter his restaurant, which he characterized as an “inclusive space where everyone feels good.
He disclosed, “We had no idea that they were coming. Daisy had reserved a table for twelve under her name. It was intended to be Daisy’s birthday celebration. But then a bodyguard emerged and announced that this would not be Daisy’s birthday celebration, and suddenly Prince William entered.”
Zasim claimed that William and his entourage stayed for almost three hours and said they enjoyed themselves. Regarding William’s meal, He consumed our sandwich with pulled pork on braided bread. And because he ate everything, we believe he enjoyed it.
William’s support for the LGBTQ+ community is nothing new since he comes from a long history of sympathizers. During his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth’s 70-year reign, LGBTQ+ rights in the United Kingdom underwent remarkable transformations, including the 1967 partial legalization of homosexuality and the 2014 Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act. As a result of his father, King Charles III, holding a comparable position, William was exposed to advocacy at an early age.
