The now-former pair, who were married for four and a half years, have decided to separate.
After nearly five years together, Douglas Nunes filed for divorce in Los Angeles on Friday from the “Real Housewives of Miami” star Joanna Krupa.
Nunes stated that he and the “Real Housewives of Miami” alumna separated on January 2, 2023, citing “irreconcilable issues” as the basis for the end of their marriage, according to documents obtained by The Times.
He signed the documents on February 10, 2023. The businessman, co-founder, and chief executive of 451 Media Group married the model and television personality in July 2018 in Poland. Asha-Leigh Nunes, age 3, is the couple’s joint responsibility.
Krupa posted on Instagram announcing their split on Monday. “My husband and I have made a joint decision to get separated. We have a private agreement between us that is our business and we are moving forward as friends and still live daily as a family for our daughter whom we both place before ourselves,” she wrote.
“For the sake of my family I will not comment further on this only to say each of us is committed to assuring the other’s happiness so we can be the best parents possible as we move forward.”
Nunes has asked for shared parental rights and responsibilities with their daughter. He also reserved the right to alter the petition in the future, and the filings note that the couple’s community-property holdings are now unclear. This is Krupa’s second marriage.
She was married to “RHOM” co-star, nightclub owner, and businessman Romain Zago from 2013 until 2017. The two of them made numerous appearances together on ‘The Real Housewives of Miami,” a show which chronicled many of the couple’s ups and downs. Joanna has not filed a counterclaim for divorce at this time.
