Wait, Michael Sterling isn't ready to call it quits yet, Eva Marcille.
As reported previously, Eva Marcille filed for divorce from her husband, Michael Sterling, after being married for five years on March 23, 2023. However, on March 29, six days after the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member filed divorce papers, Michael stated, “I am not going to lose my wife. I am going to fight for her with every fiber in my being.” The man really isn’t going down without a fight!
Page Six obtained a statement from the attorney on Wednesday, which reads: “I love her, and I plan to show her how much I love her and that our love is strong enough to get to the other side.” Sterling concluded, “I am not going to lose my wife. I am going to win her back.”
Unlike her husband, the “RHOA” alum doesn’t seem to mind that her divorce filing has made headlines. The reality star even posted a photo of herself and a friend smiling for the camera on Tuesday to her Instagram story and wrote, “Tues-yay,” adding, “That’s a fake ass smile, but it’s okay, smile anyway, right?”
Eva also shared an image of a ballerina wearing a pointe shoe on one foot and a bloody cast on the other earlier in the day, which she captioned: “The pain under the beauty,” evidently alluding to her predicament in some roundabout way.
Previously, she said in her divorce filing that she and Sterling were “irretrievably broken” and “there are no prospects of a reconciliation.” The divorce papers obtained by PEOPLE then show that Marcille wants legal and primary custody of the couple’s children, child support, and help with “care and maintenance” and medical costs.
She also wants an “equitable division” of the assets and debts she and Michael accumulated during their marriage and her own property. The Bravolebrity wants him to pay for her legal bills as well. Michael may struggle to woo the ex-“RHOA” star. Despite this, Michael hopes that Eva will not continue her plan to end their marriage.
