Another rising star in the fashion industry has passed away.

After model Jeremy Ruehlemann’s death, his long-term girlfriend, emerging public relations prodigy Mary-Brian Clarke, also joined our creator. According to an online obituary, Clarke died unexpectedly on March 21, just two months after Ruehlemann passed away.

“Our beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Mary-Brian Clarke, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, the 21st of March 2023, at the age of 24,” her family wrote in an obituary. She is survived by those who loved her most, including her parents Resa and Brian Clarke, and siblings Abby, Hanna and Jack.

Mary-Brian attended LIM College where she was becoming a talented influence in the fashion industry having worked for TIBI, Elizabeth Bensinger, and MadHappy,” their message continued.

The angels in heaven will certainly benefit from her sense of style and fashion. Arriving at the gates of heaven in one of many pairs of unique sunglasses, more rings than her fingers could hold and either a furry jacket or hat and a one-of-a-kind pair of trendy sneakers, and that magnificent smile that was a magnet for all.”

Remembering her “contagious laugh, her witty sense of humor, and her unique ability to connect with others,” they added, “She was a light to everyone who knew her which came from her belief in the good of others.” The circumstances surrounding Clarke’s passing have not been made public.

The 24-year-old former public relations professional had left a statement for Ruehlemann after his passing in January 2023. “I love you forever & miss you everyday,” Clarke had written. She posted a video of them on Instagram, singing along to the radio and photographs of them laughing and kissing.

In February, Clarke posted another photo of Ruehlemann to Instagram with a heart emoji.

On Friday, March 31st, a Christian funeral service was held at Houston’s St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. A memorial reception honoring her life was held not long after at the Parish Life Center.

Her loved ones have also created a memorial fund in her honor “in remembrance of her life-changing experience serving in Zambia” on Family Legacy. As the news of her death surfaced, condolences poured in.
