Ingredients

  • 4 Trout filets
  • 2 tbsp. Coconut flour
  • 2 tbsp. Almond flour
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 2 tbsp. Chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, thyme, or dill)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, combine the coconut flour, almond flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Coat each trout filet in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  3. Heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat in a large skillet.
  4. Add the trout filets to the skillet and cook on each side for 3-4 minutes until the fish is cooked through and crispy.
  5. Remove the trout filets from the skillet and place them on a serving platter.
  6. Squeeze the lemon juice over the fish and sprinkle with the chopped fresh herbs.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your low-carb pan-fried trout with lemon and herbs!

Note: You can add sliced lemon on top of the fish before serving for extra flavor and presentation.
