How to Store the Low-Carb Broccoli and Cheese Soup
- To store low-carb broccoli and cheese soup, you should follow these steps:
- Allow the soup to cool to room temperature before storing it.
- Transfer the soup to an airtight container. If you have a large batch, divide it into smaller portions to make it easier to store and reheat later.
- Place the container of soup in the refrigerator. The soup can be stored for up to 3-4 days.
- If you plan to store the soup longer, you can freeze it. Allow the soup to cool completely, then transfer it to a freezer-safe container or resealable plastic bag. Label the container with the date and store it in the freezer for 2-3 months.
- To reheat the soup, you can heat it in a pot on the stove over low to medium heat or in a microwave-safe bowl in the microwave. Make sure to stir the soup occasionally while reheating to ensure even heat distribution.
- If the soup is too thick after reheating, add a splash of milk or broth to thin it out to your desired consistency.
