Stassi Schroeder is an American reality television personality, model, actress, writer, designer, businesswoman, and influencer known for “Vanderpump Rules”, “The Amazing Race”, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, “Hashtaggers”, and “Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens”. She is also known as the star of the Bravo web series “Basically Stassi” and for co-hosting the podcast “The Good, The Bad, The Baby”.

Stassi Schroeder's Net Worth

As of July 2022, Stassi Schroeder’s net worth is $3 million. Her career as a writer and reality TV star is her primary source of income. The Hollywood Reporter listed her Vanderpump Rules salary (1) for the first two seasons to be around $10,000 before signing a $25,000 per episode contract. She appeared in a total of 158 episodes.

Stassi’s wealth is also increasing from accumulated profit from club appearances and hosting engagements. Her paid public appearances, ranging from $15,000 to $20,000, contribute to her impressive net worth. Sales from her wine label Witches of WeHo, as well as revenue from sales of her New York Times best-selling books “Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic Bitch Handbook” and “Off with My Head: The Definitive Basic B*tch Handbook to Surviving Rock Bottom”, significantly adds to her notable net worth.

Schroeder’s remarkable net worth includes earnings from her modeling and designing career. She has appeared in magazines such as Italian Vanity Fair, Glamour, and US Weekly. Expanding her incredible net worth, Stassi also converted her celebrity status to business opportunities, such as designing a line of statement necklaces for retail website ShopPrimadonna.com in 2014 and teaming up with JustFab for a stylish and accessible clothing line in 2019. Combining her talent for writing with her status as an influencer, Stassi started her fashion blog StylebyStassi which sells a line of jewelry co-designed by her mother, Dayna. They are selling the jewelry line on Etsy.com under the shop name “georgijules”.

Stassi Schroeder’s net worth skyrocketed after she and her husband, Beau Clark, purchased their $1.7 million (2) worth mansion in January 2020. The 2,900 square foot Mediterranean-style house features three bedrooms and three bathrooms, a marble fireplace, a grand arched ceiling, and oversized windows (3). The Hollywood Hills property with a panoramic canyon view includes an attached one-bedroom, one-bathroom guest house.

Stassi Schroeder's Early Life

Nastassia Bianca Schroeder, famously known as Stassi Schroeder, is 34 years old. She was born on June 24, 1988. Stassi was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States of America, raised by her architect father, Mark, and jewelry designer mother, Dayna. She is of German descent on her father’s side and Russian on her mother’s side.

Schroeder’s parents married in a shotgun wedding in December 1987, six months before welcoming Stassi into their lives. Mark and Dayna divorced in January 1994 (4) when Stassi was six years old. The couple agreed to a joint custody arrangement for Stassi and her brother Hunter. Mark and Dayna were granted three nights per week, with Mark being allowed to bring the children to Sunday church if he wishes. Dayna got primary physical custody of the kids while the judge ordered Mark to pay for the kids’ education. Both parents agreed that none of them would move outside the greater New Orleans area until Stassi and her brother reached the age of eighteen. Mark remarried Charlene Thian in 2001, while Dayna remarried twice and now lives in Lake Arrowhead, California.

In 2005, Schroeder competed in the eighth season of the reality game show “The Amazing Race” (5). She participated in the race alongside her father, stepmother Char, and younger brother Hunter. The family finished in seventh place after being eliminated in their hometown of New Orleans. After filming their “The Amazing Race” season, their house was flooded and destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. In the spirit of camaraderie, their former competitors, the Rogers family, let their family stay with them while the Schroeders rebuilt their house. Mark and Char’s relationship soon deteriorated, and the judge finalized their divorce in October 2009. Mark Schroeder is currently married to Tara Golda Engeran.

Stassi has always been open about her personal life, including her forays into plastic surgeries. In her best-selling book “Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic Bitch Handbook”, Schroeder admitted to undergoing breast reduction and chin augmentation surgeries. She confessed that her chin augmentation (6) at eighteen was high school graduation present from her parents. Stassi added that her chin always made her feel conscious while growing up, making her desperate to have a more prominent chin and a more defined jawline. She maintained that getting the surgery was still one of the best decisions because it gave her self-confidence.

In 2015, Schroeder decided to get breast reduction surgery. She explained that she always fantasized about having smaller breasts because she always had issues with back pains and her bra straps cutting into her shoulders because of her breast size. Schroeder also confessed to getting lip fillers and botox injections on her face.

Stassi Schroeder has three younger siblings, younger brother Hunter and half-younger siblings Nikolai and Georgianna from her mother’s two other marriages.

Stassi Schroeder's Education

Stassi Schroeder attended her local high school, Mount Carmel Academy. At age eleven, she took theatre classes to hone her acting skills. She was the president of the school’s drama club during her senior year. In 2006, Schroeder was voted “Most Talented” by her graduating class. After graduating high school, she enrolled at New Orleans Centre for the Creative Arts’ drama division. She studied the acting techniques of Michael Chekhov under mentor-actor Mark Krasnoff.

At age eighteen, Schroeder relocated to Los Angeles to study at Loyola Marymount University (7), where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Writing. Following her famous uncle, Roger Schroeder, who wrote scripts for the long-running soap opera “Days of Our Lives”, she took screenwriting classes under screenwriter-director Jeff Phillips.

Stassi Schroeder's Husband and Family Life

Stassi Schroeder has been married to Beau Clark since September 2020. The couple had initial plans to have a destination wedding in Italy. The Coronavirus pandemic made them settle for a quiet backyard wedding (8) in their Hollywood Hills home. The couple finally managed to do their scheduled wedding in Villa Miani in Rome, Italy, on May 12, 2022, in the presence of selected guests.

Beau Clark and Stassi Schroeder dated for two years before announcing their engagement in July 2019. Casting agent Clark proposed to Stassi Schroeder with a 3.5-carat family heirloom ring (9) from the early 1900s. The extravagant engagement ring features one large European round-cut diamond surrounded by twenty-four smaller diamond stones in a platinum setting. Beau explained that his grandfather bought the ring in the 1940s, which his aunt passed to him. Clark proposed during a tour of the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, where he pretended to pick up a fake urn before dropping to one knee to present the antique sparkler inside. Schroeder explained that Clark got the idea from her love of the macabre because she would incessantly obsess about serial killers and murder stories. She added that they often visit cemeteries of places they are traveling in.

Beau Clark and Stassi Schroeder welcomed their daughter Hartford Charlie Rose Clark (10) on January 7, 2021. She announced her pregnancy a couple of weeks after getting fired from Vanderpump Rules. Schroeder later disclosed that her firing felt serendipitous because she didn’t want Hartford to grow up exposed to reality television cameras. She maintains that she’s still friends with her co-stars and has had play dates with Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, and Brittany Cartwright’s kids.

Before dating Beau Clark, Stassi Schroeder was in a relationship with Sirius radio host Patrick Meagher. The pair met on Twitter after Stassi dropped Patrick a direct message. The “Cocktails with Patrick” and “The Wrap” host was in a long-distance relationship with Schroeder until she decided to quit working in Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR Restaurant & Lounge and move to New York City to be with him. The couple later moved to Los Angeles due to business opportunities. Patrick did guest appearances on Vanderpump Rules after Stassi resumed working in SUR. In August 2017, Meagher and Schroeder broke up after four years of dating. Stassi told her friend Rachael O’Brien during an episode in her old podcast Straight Up with Stassi that the split happened after she and Patrick got into an argument over Patrick forgetting their fourth anniversary (11).

Stassi’s most famous relationship is with her Vanderpump Rules co-star Jax Taylor. The former couple was in a three-year on-again, off-again relationship plagued with Taylor’s repeated infidelity. The final nail in the coffin of their relationship came when Schroeder confronted her best friend Kristen Doute about the rumor of Kristen and Jax hooking up when Jax was trying to win her back. Jax admitted to the affair, but Kristen denied it, resulting in Stassi slapping Kristen in front of SUR’s staff. Jax still tried to win Stassi back, but Stassi decided to move on. Jax and Stassi remained friends until Jax and his wife Brittany decided to skip (12) Stassi and Beau’s Italian wedding, which The Clarks did not take well.

Stassi Schroeder has publicly spoken about her struggle with Psoriasis. This chronic skin disease causes red rashes and itchy, scaly patches on the skin, which can interfere with concentration and sleep. Stassi claims that she doesn’t use makeup to cover her psoriasis rashes, even if the red patches make her feel undesirable.

Stassi Schroeder's Career

Stassi Schroeder’s foray into entertainment started with her participation in the reality game show “The Amazing Race”. In 2005, Stassi competed in the show’s eighth season with her father Mark, stepmother Char, and younger brother Hunter. Her family finished in seventh place after being eliminated at the finish line in their hometown of New Orleans.

In 2008, Stassi got cast in the short-lived reality series “Queen Bees”, which featured seven participants getting their mean girl makeover. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University in 2010, Stassi Schroeder went to pursue a career in Hollywood. She began working at Lisa Vanderpump’s Villa Blanca and SUR Restaurant & Lounge to support herself. Working for Lisa resulted in her appearing in seven episodes of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, where Vanderpump is a cast member. Lisa and her producers liked Stassi so much that they cast her in Vanderpump Rules. The show debuted in 2013, and it shot Schroeder to mainstream stardom.

Schroeder capitalized on her newfound fame and started her creative projects. She ventured into acting, appearing in three episodes of another Bravo reality television series called “Summer House” (2017). In 2016, Stassi had a supporting role in the TV movie “Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens” and was a guest star in the television series “Hashtaggers”. She also appeared in the TV series “Ex-Housewife” (2019) and her own Bravo web series “Basically Stassi” (2009). “Basically Stassi”, which followed Schroeder and her guests in her Los Angeles apartment discussing life, love, and relationships, streamed on Bravo’s official website and YouTube channel.

Fashion played a massive part in Stassi’s transformation to celebrity status. She appeared in fashion magazines such as Glamour, Italian Vanity Fair, Cliché and Pacific, Millennium, and Genlux. In December 2014, Schroeder collaborated with accessories e-retailer ShopPrimadonna.com on a statement necklace capsule collection. She also joined forces with JustFab on a two-part clothing line, “Next Level Basics” and “OOTN (Outfit of the Night)”. Schroeder also started a fashion blog, StylebyStassi, which features pieces of jewelry she co-designed with her mother, Dayna. Dayna’s Etsy store, georgijules, sells the jewelry line.

Schroeder published two best-selling self-help books with her college degree in English Writing. In 2019, she released Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic Bitch Handbook. This New York Times best-seller was followed by Off with My Head: The Definitive Basic B*tch Handbook to Surviving Rock Bottom in 2022. Gawker accused Schroeder of buying her books in bulk orders to trick her way to the best-seller list (13), an accusation that she denied. Stassi has also written style critiquing articles for the digital magazine, The Divine Addiction, owned by Lisa Vanderpump’s daughter, Pandora Todd. In preparation for her wedding to Beau Clark, she authored a wedding column named “Basic Bride” for Glamor magazine.

After leaving Vanderpump Rules at the end of its third season, Schroeder ventured into podcasting, hosting her first podcast, “Straight Up with Stassi”. The iTunes hit podcast featured interviews with her ex-boyfriend Jax Taylor, celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe, and Bachelor Nation All-Stars cast members, Chad Johnson and Olivia Caridi, among others. The podcast got canceled when her advertisers Rent the Runway, and Simple Contacts dropped out after Stassi’s dismissive comments (14) on the #MeToo movement. In March 2021, she announced her new podcast with her husband, Beau Clark. The Patreon-hosted podcast was called “The Good The Bad The Baby” and features parenting tips, tales, and advice.

As a savvy entrepreneur and influencer, Stassi Schroeder capitalized on her status by doing product endorsements and investing in various business endeavors. She got asked to endorse beauty and wellness products on her social media platforms, resulting in her brand partnerships with Taco Bell, Bondi Sands tanning foam, botox cosmetic prescription medicines, and BioClarity skin products. On February 1, 2019, Schroeder and best friends, Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute launched their wine partnership with Nocking Point Wines. Their first offering was a pinot grigio called Basic Witch Potion No. 1. The pinot grigio wine was a hit and led the trio to launch their wine label, Witches of WeHo (15). In June 2019, Witches of WeHo introduced Basic Witch Potion No. 2,  a stylish rosé wine in collaboration with Nocking Point Wines. Unfortunately, retailers decided to remove all Basic Witch Potion wine bottles from the shelves after racially insensitive comments made by Schroeder and Doute toward their Vanderpump Rules co-star Faith Stowers resurfaced.

After the scandal with Stowers came to the limelight, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, along with Pump Rules co-stars Brett Caprioni and Max Boyens, were fired from Vanderpump Rules. The firing led to Stassi Schroeder’s brand sponsors, including vitamin startup Ritual and shaving company Billie, dropping her. Her PR company UTA also distanced itself from her. Bender-Spink, Inc. Talent Management currently manages Stassi Schroeder.

Vanderpump Rules Storyline for Stassi Schroeder

In 2013, Stassi Schroeder was announced as one of the six lead cast members of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spin-off Vanderpump Rules. Other cast members include Kristen Doute, Tom Sandoval, Jax Taylor, Katie Maloney, and Scheana Shay. The reality series debuted on the Bravo network and was considered a hit due to Lisa Vanderpump’s reality show star power. All six cast members worked as SURvers at Vanderpump’s West Hollywood joint, SUR Restaurant & Lounge. The Andy Cohen-produced television show followed the lives of Lisa Vanderpump’s employees as they worked through their aspiring Hollywood careers and personal relationships.

After graduating from college, Stassi Schroeder found herself hustling for jobs to have a shot at a lucrative career in Hollywood. She supported herself by working in famous British restaurateur Lisa Vanderpump’s LA restaurants Villa Blanca and Sexy Unique Restaurant (SUR) & Lounge. As one of Lisa’s staff members, she started appearing in Vanderpump’s first smash-hit reality show, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”. The producers liked Stassi, so they asked Lisa to include her in Vanderpump Rules.

Schroeder is considered a veteran Vanderpump employee, and she made it known to newbies in the crew. She formed her Mean Girls posse with fellow SURvers Katie Maloney and Kristen Doute, and they proceeded to make things difficult for new SURver Scheana Shay. They gave her the cold shoulder, harassed her, and treated her with hostility. Stassi was in a three-year relationship with fellow SURver Jax Taylor (16) when the show debuted. Season one’s storyline is best known as the season when Jax cheated on Stassi during a trip to Las Vegas, which led to their breakup. Jax decided to crash her Vegas birthday party and started a parking lot fight with her new fling, Frank Herlihy. The season finished with Jax admitting to Stassi that he cheated on her during his Las Vegas trip.

In season two, Jax is still attempting to win Stassi back. He gets tattooed with her name, but Stassi does not want anything to do with him. Katie Maloney tells Stassi about the rumor that Jax Taylor and Kristen Doute slept together while Jax tried to win her back. Schroeder investigated the story and then confronted her best friend about it. Doute denied the gossip, but Taylor confessed that they slept together twice. The confession led to Stassi slapping Kristen very hard that the latter fell to the floor. Stassi got almost arrested after Kristen filed a police report, but Jax and their co-workers convinced Kristen to drop the charges.

By the end of season three, Stassi Schroeder resigned from SUR and decided to relocate to New York City to be with her long-distance boyfriend, Patrick Meagher. Season four featured Schroeder returning to Los Angeles and begging Lisa Vanderpump for her job back. Vanderpump assigned her as SUR’s event planner, and she proceeded to rekindle her friendships with Kristen and Katie, and they united against the new SURver, Lala Kent.

Season five explored the changing allegiances among SUR’s employees. Stassi, Katie, and Kristen joined forces against Lala and SUR’s resident DJ, James Kennedy. Schroeder ended the season by crashing Katie and Tom Schwartz’s honeymoon trip in Bora Bora. By season six, Stassi’s relationship with Patrick hit rock bottom. Patrick dumped her before their romantic Mexican getaway and blocked her from his phone. Later in the season, Schroeder started dating casting agent Beau Clark and threw a joint winter-themed birthday party with co-star Ariana Madix.

Stassi Schroeder stayed as a central cast member from season six to the eighth. In June 2020, Stassi and her Pump Rules co-star Kristen Doute were fired (17) from the reality series after racist remarks and actions committed by the pair against co-star Faith Stowers resurfaced. Stowers alleged that Doute and Schroeder made multiple false robbery accusations against her to the police. Fan outrage over the allegations led producers of the show to immediately fire Stassi and Kristen, alongside co-stars Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni. After being let go, Schroeder posted a public apology to Stowers on her Instagram.

A few months after being let go from Vanderpump Rules, Stassi Schroeder gave an exclusive interview with talk show host Tamron Hall to explain her side of the story. In the interview, Stassi maintained that she wanted to reflect on her misconduct before addressing it. Schroeder stressed that she’s accepting full responsibility for her actions and is taking steps to learn and improve herself. She added that she did not see herself as a victim of cancel culture (18) and confirmed that the ship had sailed for her and Vanderpump Rules. She will instead focus on her impending wedding and motherhood.
