While there, he taught the people how to plant trees and anti-erosion techniques. He was a volunteer of the said agency from 1992 to 1994. However, it was said from his profile at PIMCO, he was a returning volunteer at Peace Corps, and has served as an agroforestry extension agent.
In his profile on the PIMCO website, it was said that Christian Stracke has 24 years of experience in investment. Before working for PIMCO, he was a senior credit strategist at CreditSights and also held positions as head of Latin America’s local markets strategy with Deutsche Bank in their New York City office.
It was in 2008, when he decided to work at PIMCO. Now, he is a senior portfolio manager and member of various investment committees across PIMCO’s alternative credit and private strategies platform. He also serves as managing director in the Newport Beach office of the said company and at the same time a global head of the credit research group.
