In a spat with fellow housewife Tanya Bardsley, Stacey pointed to Tanya calling her “Mrs Bucket” on the ITVBe reality program and accused her of looking down on the other women. Stacey said that she was planning to have her cancer removed at the time, in 2016, but Tanya claimed she was unaware of her co-health star’s issues.
“You know when you called me Mrs Bucket? Two weeks later I was going to have my skin cancer taken off so I wasn’t in a very good place,” Stacey explained, prompting Tanya to ask, “How was I to know that?” Her co-star Lauren Simon also chimed in, saying, “What you just threw in then, ‘I had my skin cancer taken out’ – no one knew. So if we didn’t know we can’t feel sorry for you.”
Her other co-star Ester Dee was also at the heart of the turmoil during the same episode, thanks to a voicemail message placed on her phone by Stacey and Seema Malhotra. Stacey was overheard advising her closest friend Seema that they could use Ester as “ammunition” in their social circle, despite the fact that she believed she had hung up the phone.
