In 1989, Michaele Salahi started working as a front-desk clerk at WKRZ, a popular radio station in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She went to Washington, D.C., shortly after, where she worked at Nordstrom’s make-up counter. For the most of the 1990s, she stayed in this position. The real housewife claimed to have worked for the Washington Redskins football team as a cheerleader, despite the fact that the team said she had never worked for them. She has also claimed to have been in a number of marketing campaigns, however this has not been substantiated. The reality star additionally claimed to have previously competed in the Miss USA pageant, however there is no record of her involvement in the competition.

Her most famous moment came in September of 2009, when she and her husband snuck into the White House for a state dinner.
