Police said in a plea for assistance on Wednesday that the actress “failed to return home and has not been seen or heard from since.”

The incident occurred at 8:30 a.m. while responding to a radio request for a death investigation. Hollywood Area police discovered Pearlman’s corpse between Franklin Avenue and North Sierra Bonita Avenue on Friday.

“The police found Lindsey. She’s gone. I’m broken,” Pearlman’s husband said on Instagram, confirming the tragic news. “I will share more later but I wanted to [say] thank you to everyone for their love and efforts and ask you to respect the privacy of her family at this time.”

Her cousin, Savannah Pearlman, who had written on Feb. 17 that the actress had been “last pinged on Sunset blvd,” also confirmed her death on Friday, tweeting, “I’m deeply sad to report that they have found Lindsey, and it was too late.”

“We are deeply saddened by Lindsey Pearlman’s passing today,” Pearlman’s representative Michael Chiaverini similarly issued a statement to TODAY. “The family has asked for privacy during this difficult time while they process and grieve.”

Lindsey Pearlman has been on “General Hospital,” “Chicago Justice,” and the BET+ series “The Ms. Pat Show,” as well as the Urbanflix series “Vicious.”
