90 Day Fiancé’s Ben Rathbun Arrested For Drunk Driving Probation Violation

He was taken into custody on Tuesday after failing to show up for a probation violation hearing.

On Tuesday morning, Ben Rathbun, the star of 90 Day Fiancé, was arrested at the Oakland County Jail in Michigan on charges of DUI and driving with a suspended license.

The former pastor turned reality star was supposed to appear for a probation violation hearing in February, which he failed to show up, prompting the court to issue a bench warrant.
The bench warrant from his first OWAI charge in 2020 was used to arrest him on Tuesday. In January 2021, he entered a guilty plea and received an 18-month term of probation.

The amount of his bail has been set at $10,000. The date of his next court appearance is March 21. The news was initially reported by TMZ.

Season 5 of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé offshoot series saw the Michigan native make his debut. He was dating Mahogany Roca, a 24-year-old Peruvian woman, for about three months at the time of filming.

Rathbun questioned if she was a catfish ahead of their first in-person encounter during season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, which prompted suspicions since she wouldn’t appear in video chats or FaceTime calls.
Despite the fact that she didn’t appear like her social media photos, she turned out to be a genuine person, and the two chose to continue their relationship.
The couple have lately piqued people’s interest when they both seemed to vanish from the social media scene by deactivating their Instagram profiles.
TLC and Discovery+ are now running this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. TLC did not immediately react to requests for comment from different news outlets.
