Harry Styles Invited Shania Twain To Perform At Coachella

Fans who attended the event were in for a treat, as they were able to wtiness their iconic duet performed live on stage.

On Friday in Indio, California, Harry Styles headlined the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2022. “As It Was,” “Watermelon Sugar,” and the One Direction hit “What Makes You Beautiful” were among the songs on his set list.

Thousands of people attended the event to see him perform, with even more watching in live on YouTube, but who would’ve guessed that there would also be a surprise duet?

In the middle of his headlining set, Twain joined him on stage around an hour into his show, and the two sang her hit “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” Styles even talked about how important she was to him and his career.

“In the car, with my mother as a child, this lady taught me to sing,” he stated in a CNN-acquired broadcast. “She also told me that men are trash. To you, for the memories you gave me with my mother, i will be forever grateful.”

For her part, Twain said, “I’m a bit starstruck, what can I say? No, really, I’m a fan of you, of course. I realize that when I was writing this song, you were just a little kid.”

“It’s kind of a dream and very surreal to be sitting here right now to sing this song with you. I think I’m just in love and this song is all about love. So let’s just sing about love,” she added, as they sat on stools to perform “You’re Still the One,” which was released in 1997.

Styles also premiered two new songs from his upcoming album “Harry’s House,” which will be out on May 20, and finished the show with his breakthrough solo hit “Sign of the Times.” Billie Eilish, Arcade Fire, Carly Rae Jepsen, and the Weeknd are among the other headliners.
