Burrell is an American chef, television personality, and host of the Food Network programs “Secrets of a Restaurant Chef” and “Worst Cooks” in America. Anne also served as one of Mario Batali’s sous chefs in the “Iron Chef America” television series and has appeared on other network shows like “The Greatest Thing I Ever Ate.”
During its fourth season, she competed on “The Next Iron Chef Super Chefs,” a competition show on The Food Network. She was eliminated in episode 6. Anne competed in the inaugural season of the “Chopped All-Stars Tournament” as well, winning the “Food Network Personalities” preliminary round to advance to the final round, where she came in second runner-up to Nate Appleman (winner) and Aarón Sanchez.
Not only is she remarkable in her career and competing in various competitions, but Anne Burrell also raised $75,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund by winning the fourth “Chopped All-Stars” event in 2015. Then from 2012 to 2013, she co-hosted the show “Chef Wanted” with Anne Burrell.
