His parents are Dick Van Dyke, an actor, and producer, and his father’s first wife, Margie Willett. He is the second child, and his siblings are Carrie Beth and Stacy Van Dyke, his two younger sisters, and elder brother Christian Van Dyke. 

Arlene Silver-Van Dyke, the actor’s stepmother and his father’s second wife, is a makeup artist. Additionally, regarding his educational background, Dyke majored in theatrical arts while attending Pierce Junior College in Los Angeles. (3)
