He also had nothing but good things to say about working with Lopez on the movie, describing it as a “great couple of weeks” and applauding her performance in a separate talk with Young Hollywood.
“I try not to come in with expectations on what someone is going to be like because she’s so famous,” he remarked. “The idea is just to meet someone on face value and go from there. I think it’s always the most honest way.”
In the movie “Parker,” Statham portrayed the leading role, while Lopez portrayed Leslie Rodgers, a down-on-her-luck real estate agent who falls involved with Statham’s character.
Lopez had a standout performance in the movie despite feeling uncomfortable during the nude scene. She has also had a long and fruitful career in the entertainment industry, appearing in movies including “The Wedding Planner,” “Out of Sight,” “Shades of Blue,” and “Selena.”
