What Does Salma Hayek Usually Eat?

Salma is a rule-breaker in the kitchen. Her favorite thing to do is create her breakfast special using a mix of different fruits, vegetables, and berries.

Her go-to breakfast usually starts with a yogurt base, topped generously with blueberries, mango, pomegranate seeds, papaya, strawberries, red pepper, celery, cucumber, coconut butter, and almonds.

Salma craves more than steamed chicken and vegetables as a known foodie for every meal. She desires a diverse array of flavors in her diet.

The actress is comfortable with her body and doesn’t stress over weight fluctuations. She’s not obsessed with being super thin and embraces her natural shape.

“I’m not a skinny girl,” Salma told Canada’s More magazine. “I push it. I’m at the limit of chubbiness at all times, but I’m happy at all times.”

Salma is passionate about juicing, and she took her love for it to the next level by co-founding a juicing business called Cooler Cleanse with Eric Helms.

Additionally, she has an unusual aspect to her diet – she incorporates bugs into her meals. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she shared that they often eat crickets, ant eggs, and worms in Mexico.

What is Salma Hayek’s Exercise Routine?

Salma quickly admits that going to the gym isn’t her preferred way to slim down. She revealed that she didn’t have the discipline to exercise in the morning.

“I don’t have time to exercise, I am working,’ she said. ‘I’ve had some 20-hour days,” she told People.

But she hasn’t given up entirely – even though full-blown workouts are rare, she has learned to train her body passively

Her secret is restorative yoga, which helps her tone muscles without clenching them. Instead of tensing up, she learns to relax the muscles and focus on the areas that need engagement.

Salma’s clever approach to exercise involves doing it without even realizing it, including the daily movement she enjoys with her beloved canine companions. In fact, she considers walking her pups as one of her favorite forms of exercise.

But even though she doesn’t visit the gym frequently, when she does work out, she ensures it’s something she enjoys.

According to Sara Shears, who trained Salma before, the actress prefers cardio and high-intensity interval training, and she also includes a bit of strength training in her routine.
