Since 2018, Steve Gold has been dating Luiza Gawlowska. In August 2018, Steve and Luiza met while boarding the same plane in London. He outlined the type of lady he desired in a 2018 interview with US Weekly. Surprisingly, he encountered Luiza Gawlowska on a flight a few months later. “It was an interesting first sight,” he told the outlet and added: “I think love at first sight is lust at first sight. It was definitely that, but there’s so much more than just how someone looks, I think when it comes to finding a partner for life.” Steve and Luiza are now parents to daughter Rose and they live out of one of NYC’s plush apartments.

Fans were stunned when Million Dollar Listing star Steve Gold disclosed that he had a baby in 2019 – simply because they had no idea he’d been seeing anyone. For a variety of reasons, Gold and Gawlowska kept their relationship a secret for a long period. Steve, on the other hand, intended to make their relationship more public once Rose was born. The couple went on their first date in London, England, where they met at the airport. They went on dates in Monte Carlo and Ibiza after that, and by February 2019, they were living together in New York City. Steve Gold kept his relationship with his girlfriend a secret in part because she was being stalked by online bullies. Steve is eight years older than his fiancée (Steve is 35, Luiza is 27), and the two have significantly distinct physical appearances.

Gold and Luiza unveiled their choice of Rose Gold in an episode of MDLNY – named after Steve’s Russian great-grandmother Rose. They started with discussing Polish names, as Luiza is from Poland, but she turned down Gold’s choices like Zuzanna, Lena and Zofia.  In January 2021, Steve and Luiza had to vacate the Zada Hadid house. They had just lived in the area for a few years. The apartment may have been a somewhat of on the smaller side with just a little over 1,700 square feet to work with but he genuinely enjoyed having to live out of the space.

He reflected on how many memories had been made in their flat over the previous two and a half years. They welcomed their daughter Rose in there for the first time, faced a pandemic unlike anything the modern world has ever seen, celebrated milestones like Rose’s first birthday there, and sold a lot of apartments there, which he shared on Instagram, saying he was grateful for all those memories and looking forward to making more.

Steve Gold wanted to work in finance during high school and university. He interned in the Infrastructure Fund of The Carlyle Group, a worldwide private equity, alternative asset management, and financial services corporation, from March to August 2006. He supported full-time personnel with analytical and research support in this position. He also did some preliminary research on potential investment deals. He created industry overviews as well as macro-sector forecasts. He drafted summaries of critical details about a number of potential target companies, which he delivered to the fund’s co-heads. Steve Gold aided in the development of fundraising presentations to aid in the selection of sensible, restricted partners.

Steve Gold assisted fund co-heads in educating themselves on current industry activity in relevant states in anticipation of specific state pension fund fundraising presentations by conducting specific research and preparing briefing materials.

Steve Gold helped build and maintain a deal database that was used to track and manage existing and anticipated transaction activity. He supplied data on public–private partnerships and other infrastructure-related legislation. He also drafted a document for a North American port contract for the Investment Committee. Steve Gold looked into and reported on potential targets for airport, maritime port, parking lot, and rest stop acquisitions.

After a buddy invited him to a casting call in Manhattan, Steve Gold began modeling. Gold and his companion were lifeguards at the Italian Center in Stamford, Connecticut, at the time. Following the casting call, Steve Gold received multiple offers from several modeling agencies, whereas his friend who introduced him did not.

Steve Gold joined the modeling agency Major Model at the age of seventeen. Gold travelled to Paris the day following his high school graduation for his first job, as an exclusive with Louis Vuitton. He walked 10 to 15 fashion shows per season while studying finance at New York University.

He had to decide whether to continue modeling or go into finance full time on a shoot in Arizona in 2005 with photographer Pamela Hanson, not long before he was to graduate from college. Petsky Prunier, an investment bank recruiter, called with a job offer.

Steve Gold made the decision to pursue modeling full-time. He stayed in the industry for another three years until work dried up. Steve Gold modeled for Givenchy, Salvatore Ferragamo, Ralph Lauren, and Giorgio Armani during his career, in addition to Louis Vuitton. Many prominent photographers, like Steven Meisel and Terry Richardson, photographed him during this time.

Steve Gold made the decision to get to be a real estate salesperson after he started to notice a real-estate friend of his who “was having fun but making great money.” While Gold had never thought of going into real estate as a career growing up he has always been interested in real estate and enjoyed reading the Mansions section of the Wall Street Journal. He started working for Brown Harris Stevens in New York City as a real estate agent in 2007. After taking an online course in 2007, Steve Gold received his real estate license.

From his previous employment in the New York City fashion sector, Steve Gold swiftly acquired a significant client network. Among his clientele are fashion industry heavyweights like Riccardo Tisci and Brian Atwood, as well as photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Steve Gold was a Vice President at Douglas Elliman from 2010 through 2013. He was a member of one of Manhattan’s top-producing sales teams. He was also the team’s new business development lead agent. Gold’s first multi-million dollar transaction was a $5 million home at 54 King Street in Soho in 2011. In 2012, he decided to change careers and became a listing agent, landing his first exclusive luxury listing at 300 West 14th Street, which he swiftly sold.

Steve Gold joined TOWN Residential as a real estate agent in August 2013. His sales volume grew dramatically after joining TOWN. He sold Anne Hathaway’s Manhattan flat for $4.25 million in June 2014. When Olivier Sarkozy, the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy (and boyfriend of Mary-Kate Olsen), needed to sell his East Village row house, he turned to Gold, who negotiated a $6.4 million sale.
Steve Gold secured nearly $185 million in sales for the 212 Fifth Avenue building in Madison Square Park in 2017, $45 million for Circa Central Park, and over 70 single deals in 2017. He has approximately $100 million in listing inventory at the start of 2018, including 160 Central Park South, David Bowie’s former flat.

Steve Gold joined the cast of Million Dollar Listing New York in May 2017, alongside fellow brokers Ryan Serhant and Fredrik Eklund, for season 6 of the show. All three actors returned for Season 7 of the show in June 2018. While working at TOWN Residential, Steve Gold established The Gold Group, which quickly grew to seven workers. From August 2013 until April 2018, Steve Gold worked at TOWN and sold approximately $500 million in real estate.

AmfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, FreeArts NYC, and The Brazil Foundation are among the charities that Steve Gold supports. Gold has also served as a spokesperson and champion for the Nassau County SPCA.
