At this time, Whitney Sudler-Smith is not involved with anyone romantically. The man responsible for creating Southern Charm, Whitney Sudler-Smith, has a reputation for having a playboy past. Despite this, he does everything in his power to keep his romantic life a secret. Whitney, like his fellow cast member Shep Rose, takes pleasure in his single status and has no plans to begin a committed relationship with a woman in the near future. However, he has engaged in more than his fair share of romantic relationships, even with the other members of his cast. (6)

Whitney and Kathryn Dennis were involved in a romantic relationship prior to Kathryn Dennis beginning a relationship with Thomas Ravenel, who is the father of her children. An episode of Southern Charm featured a 52-year-old man who admitted to having a sexual encounter with Kathryn before she began dating Thomas. Because of his revelation, there was a great deal of tension between the three co-stars. In spite of this, Thomas and Kathryn were able to continue their relationship, and the result was that they were able to have two children together. After some time had passed, it was discovered that Whitney and Kathryn had hooked up once more just prior to the beginning of season six. (6)

Whitney began a serious relationship with Larissa Marolt, an Austrian actress, not long after he started dating Kathryn on a casual basis. Kathryn was one of Whitney’s friends. According to the website Distractify, Whitney first met Larissa in New York in 2013 at a dinner party, and the two immediately hit it off with one another. Not only did she win Whitney’s heart, but she also received Patricia, Whitney’s motherblessing ,’s on their relationship. On the other hand, it appears as though the couple is no longer together because they haven’t posed for a photo together since 2019. Fans started to take notice that they had broken up when rumors began to circulate that one of them was in a relationship with Real Housewives of New York City alum Kelly Bensimon. Since then, Whitney has refuted these allegations. (6)

At the beginning of this month, speculation began to surface regarding the romantic relationship status of Whitney and Madison LeCroy. An observer noticed the two people socializing together at a bar in Charleston, and they reported their observation to the well-known gossip website DeuxMoi. The fan asserted that they saw the two of them kissing at the front of the bar, in plain view of everyone else there. These rumors were put to rest when Patrica Altschul tweeted “April Fools,” and Madison admitted to having a boyfriend in an interview with US Weekly. Whitney has not yet responded to the reports as of yet. (6)

It would appear that Whitney is back to being a single man at this point in time. It would appear that the reality star is not yet prepared for a commitment, given that he had only fleeting encounters with Kathryn in the early seasons of Southern Charm and that he had previously been involved in an unsuccessful long-term relationship. We can only hope that he will be successful in bringing a nice woman home to his mother who both he and she will adore.

After moving to Los Angeles in 1996, Sudler-Smith directed the short films “Going for Baroque” and “Afternoon Delight,” both of which were relatively low-budget. In 1998, he was responsible for the production of the independent film Bubba and Ike, which was billed as a “redneck buddy comedy” and had Elisa Gabrielli and Jesse Borrego in the lead roles. The movie made its debut at the Austin Film Festival. In 2002, Smith penned the screenplay for Torture TV and also directed the film, which featured Danny Huston and Trevor Goddard in starring roles. In addition to that, he is a screenwriter. (1)

Ultrasuede: In Search of Halston was a documentary that Sudler-Smith directed in 2010 and it was about the well-known fashion designer Roy Halston, who was instrumental in the development of the casual chic style. Using archival footage and interviews with notable figures such as Anjelica Huston, Billy Joel, Liza Minnelli, and Anthony Haden-Guest, the documentary centered on Studio 54 and the club scene in Manhattan during the 1970s. It was directed by Todd Haynes. The film was first shown in theaters around the world before it was picked up by Showtime. Since then, it has also been made available on Amazon Prime and Peacock. Owen Gleiberman, a critic for Variety and Entertainment Weekly, gave the movie an A+ grade and stated that the movie “has a grander trajectory than just about any other fashion doc.” The film received mostly negative reviews and has a current rating of 33 percent on the website Rottentomatoes.com, which aggregates reviews from across the web. Southern Charm is a reality show that airs on Bravo and chronicles the social life of Charleston, South Carolina. Sudler-Smith is the show’s creator as well as an executive producer.

Additionally, Sudler-Smith serves in the capacity of executive producer for two spin-off series, namely Southern Charm Savannah and Southern Charm New Orleans.

Gregory Miller of The New York Post wrote that “Whitney Sudler-Smith is plenty interesting, but he’s nothing compared to his mother, Patricia Altschul, a woman who wakes up and tells her butler she’s ready for her morning cocktail with the signal, ‘It’s time for my medicine!'” Patricia Altschul is described as a woman who “wakes up and tells her butler she’s ready for her morning cocktail with the signal, ‘It’

She is the widow of the well-known New York art collector and philanthropist Arthur Goodhart Altschul Sr., who served as a General Partner of Goldman Sachs for a significant portion of his career. On the show, Patricia Altschul will occasionally provide commentary on the antics of the younger audience with a sardonic sense of humor. During the first season of the show, when Sudler-Smith announced his intention to open a restaurant in Charleston, his mother responded by telling him, “I think that’s a little out of your realm.” The show occasionally shoots in Mikell House, a 9,480-square-foot mansion that was constructed in 1851 and was purchased by Patricia Altschul in the downtown area of Charleston.

Family Office, a scripted comedy that Sudler-Smith is working on, is currently in pre-production. (3)

Southern Charm Storyline for Whitney Sudler-Smith

Whitney Sudler-Smith joined Southern Charm for its first season in 2014. He continued to be a member of the cast on a full-time basis up until the third season, after which he was demoted to a friend of the cast. (5)

Whitney is the show’s creator in addition to serving as an executive producer, despite the fact that he is no longer a regular cast member on the program. Even when he is not physically present in a scene, he is always there to produce and contribute his ideas from behind the scenes. After all, he is the one who came up with the concept of Southern Charm.

Despite the fact that Whitney did not have a significant amount of screen time during the seventh season of the Bravo reality series, he is an essential component of the show. Despite the fact that Patricia Altschul, his mother, was never a regular cast member on the show, she has a significant amount of screen time in it. However, Patrica has become a mother figure to the majority of the cast members of Southern Charm because they are frequently seen seeking advice from her or receiving it regardless of whether they go to her. Whitney, on the other hand, has been keeping herself busy with life and preparing for season eight ever since the show’s production wrapped up late last year. (5)

Although Cameran Eubanks has stated that she will be leaving Southern Charm in 2020, this does not mean that she will be distancing herself from the friendships she developed while appearing on the show. (7)

Following Eubanks’ announcement that she would be leaving Southern Charm the previous week, fans began to speculate about the nature of her relationship with the show’s executive producer and her former co-star Whitney Sudler-Smith. Eubanks stated that her friendship with Sudler-Smith is as strong as ever and that she considers him to be like a brother while she was responding to comments on a recent post on Instagram. (7)
