In 2006, Shamari Fears and Ronnie tied the knot. “My spouse and I met in 2001 at the Janet Jackson Icon Awards,” Shamari revealed on RHOA. “We got together the next day and had sex.” People often remark things like, “You know, you had sex the first night and you’re not going to be with the person.” And I’m still with him after 17 years. As a result, you shouldn’t always believe what you hear.”

Ronnie is 13 years her senior and, in Shamari’s opinion, a “legend.” “His music has lasted the test of time,” she raved about Ronnie, who had singles like “Candy Girl” and “Poison” in his discography.

“To the world, he is everything,” she added. “A lot of people have approached me and said things like, ‘Oh my God, you know you’re married to my husband.’ And I’m like, ‘No baby, I’m married to my husband.’ Shamari and Ronnie have formed a band called Me & Mari and have began working together on music. On the show, they collaborated on a song. “I want Me & Mari to be big,” she said. “I intend to release an EP.” Like Beyoncé and JAY-Z, I intend to travel the world with my husband. We’re coming for you, darling! ”

Roman and Ronald III, the DeVoes’ identical twin boys, were born on July 14, 2017. The boys have their own Instagram account, which is appropriately titled “DeVoe Twins.”

On one episode of RHOA, the mother of two spoke up about her marriage to her husband, admitting that they agreed to open their marriage to others for a short time. While hanging out with the ladies, Shamari went into even more depth, explaining that Ronnie had no problem allowing her to experiment with women as long as no other guys were there. Shamari, on the other hand, realized her marriage wouldn’t last if they continued to entertain others. “I started the open relationship, and I stopped the open relationship,” she said. The grass wasn’t greener on the other side, I realized.”

Many of the women on the show, predictably, had questions and strong opinions about the DeVoe arrangement. Viewers felt the same way. While Shamari recently stated that she has no regrets about engaging in consensual non-monogamy because it brought her and her husband closer together, she also noted that being in an open marriage isn’t always pleasurable. Couples must maintain open lines of communication in order for an open relationship to work. Above all, they must be truthful, even when it is painful. Shamari claims that she was the one who suggested having an open marriage since she didn’t want to cheat on her husband, citing the fact that they met when she was only 21 years old when they met and there are still some things that she hadn’t experienced that she want to experience.

Ronnie and Shamari recently sponsored the third annual Married 4 Life Walk, a two-mile walk designed to “assist couples of various religious faiths, ethnicities, and origins build stronger marital relationships.” During the walk, couples walk “in harmony” while learning from and networking with other couples.

Shamari claims that she and her husband are in the business of helping couples save their marriages and families heal. She stated that partnerships are difficult and that no one is flawless. Having a supportive group who cares and is upbeat can help rekindle a relationship’s flame.

In Marietta, Georgia (GA), the member of the groups “New Edition” and “Bell Biv DeVoe” resides with his wife, who is an actor, singer, and lead member of the rhythm and blues trio “Blaque.” According to public records, they bought the 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 2,673-square-foot property in May of 2005.

Ronnie DeVoe is an American singer-rapper who was born in Roxbury, Massachusetts. He is best known for being a member of the groups “New Edition” and “Bell Biv DeVoe.” Ronnie, who was born on November 17, 1967, is a musician who has worked in the R&B, pop, hip hop, and new jack swing genres. He has been working in his field since 1981.

Brooke Payne, Ronnie’s uncle and the band’s choreographer, introduced him to New Edition; Ronnie owes his music career to his uncle, New Edition choreographer Brook Paine, who brought him into the band. Ronnie finally became the second last member to join the band, with Johnny Gill being the last.

After placing second in a talent event, New Edition was signed to the Streetwise record company by music producer Maurice Starr. Ronnie became a member of the country’s greatest selling boy band throughout the mid- and late-80s as the band gained recognition in America, contributing significantly to his personal worth.

However, when New Edition broke in 1990, Ronnie and his fellow bandmates Ricky Bell and Michael Bivins formed a new group called “Bell Biv DeVoe,” which was similarly successful. Ronnie’s prominence in the market was maintained by the group, as their debut album, “Poison,” sold more than five million copies and spawned five single hits, including “Poison” and “B.B.D (I Thought It Was Me)?” ”.

Following the success of their first album, the group released their second album, “Hootie Mack,” in 1993, and their third album, “BBD,” in 2001.

Ronnie DeVoe is currently linked with two musical groups, and as a member of both, Ronnie has worked under the record companies MCA, Bad Boy, and Biv 10. The trio reassembled as New Edition in 1996, and went on tour while simultaneously releasing their album “Home Again.” Ronnie is a co-owner of DeVoe Broker Associates, an Atlanta, Georgia-based real estate brokerage, in addition to music. Being a part of all of these initiatives has undoubtedly contributed to Ronnie’s continued relevance over the years.

He received numerous well-deserved awards throughout his musical career, including the ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards – Most Performed Songs from Motion Pictures (1993), the American Music Award for Favorite Soul/R&B Band/Duo/Group (1992), the Soul Train Music Awards – Best R&B/Urban Contemporary Album (1991), and many others. Poison (1990), WBBD-Bootcity (1991), Hootie Mack (1993), Home Again (1996), All the Number Ones, Gold, Under the Blue Moon (1986), One Love (2004), Three Stripes (2004) are only a few of his culturally significant albums.

Today, Ronnie DeVoe continues to amaze us with his ever-astounding singing skills and fascinating music career. In addition to that, he ons and manages his real estate company called DEVOE Real Estate which is an Atlanta based company specializing in residential/commercial real estate and is one of the stars of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”.

Real Housewives of Atlanta Storyline for Ronnie DeVoe Jr.

Ronnie DeVoe joined “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” in season 11 in 2019 alongside his wife, Shamari Fears.

The DeVoes made their first and last appearances on the extremely successful franchise during season 11 of the show. Despite the fact that they were well-liked by fans, Shamari and Ronnie announced their departure for “personal reasons.”

It’s not heated but the Kandi-Ronnie scene was tensioned. Kandi Burruss shared her reaction to Shamari and Ronnie DeVoe’s advice, and she said she was surprised when he gave her performance advice. “Yes. It was the way that they did it. Nobody was even talking about me or Xscape, but Shamari just came out of the blue asking Ronnie if he wanted to give me some advice. It felt like they discussed it before then and already wanted to critique me and my group in front of everyone.” Kandi said of the encounter.

DeVoe admitted to the group on the second episode of her season debut that she had previously persuaded her spouse to have an open marriage so that she could experiment with another lady. Ronnie was offended when she revealed this, she added, since he believes that not everyone needs to know everything and that this is a personal and sensitive history between them.

Shamari and Ronnie had to leave because the former ‘Real Housewives’ actress claims she was edited to appear “drunk” during her first season on the show. Shamari DeVoe claims she left the Real Housewives of Atlanta because of poor editing.

The award-winning singer, who is currently starring in BET Presents: The Encore, claims that she was represented as a “drunk” and that the filmmakers did not capture the complete image of her life.
