Victoria's Early Life

Victoria Rees is 57 years old. She was born on March 8, 1964. The real housewife had little knowledge of her father, Duncan Slater. Gail Anne, her mother, died of cancer in 2001.

Speaking of her mother’s passing, Victoria Rees had a difficult year in 2001. She lost multiple family members, including her grandma Florence, who died of a heart attack soon after her mother, and one of her closest friends, Arkie, who died of cancer. Her first marriage terminated in the same year.

Her siblings’ identities are unknown at this time. As soon as we get more information on them, we will update this page.

Victoria Rees' Education

Victoria Rees attended Kambala Church Of England Girls School in Sydney. She enjoyed school, but for all the wrong reasons; her primary motivation for attending was to see all of her friends and socialize. “Victoria comes to school to hold court at lunchtime,” the Head Mistress once wrote on her report card, which she thought was very true.

School didn’t really appeal to her; the disciplines taught, such as Latin, Science, Geography, and Math, were not her cup of tea. She was interested in art, ceramics, and fashion. When she should have been in math, she was constantly in the art room. She adored anything artistic, and school in the 1970s and 1980s was really dry. She graduated from high school in 1983, found a job, and enrolled at Sydney College of the Arts to study Interior Decoration and obtained her Real Estate License some years later. (2)

Victoria Rees’s ex-husband is her personal trainer, John McEncroe. They wed in the late 1990s. They remained and wedded at The Delano during the holidays, where they met Andy Cohen, the creator of the Housewives series, who also attended their wedding. In 2002, she divorced and remarried in 2003. Austin was born in September that same year after another small wedding, this time on the beach in Bali. She divorced for the second time in 2013. Austin was ten years old when they returned to Bondi and began again.

Victoria Rees' Career

Victoria Rees went on to work in the fashion industry after graduating. Because several of her acquaintances worked in the fashion business, she was given the chance to intern as an assistant for Anna Harvey, the fashion director of British Vogue. She subsequently went to work for Lynne Franks PR in the fashion section.

The real housewife returned to Australia in the early 1990s with the intention of resuming her previous professional ambitions. She believed that real estate would be an excellent opportunity to combine her interior design skills with her family’s extensive real estate holdings.

She started and ran two distinct companies while working as a real estate agent and interior designer. She founded “SQUEEZE,” a juice and health food bar on Bondi Beach in 1994, but sold it 18 months later. In 2012, she also created another business named “Lash & Lacquer – The Finishing Touches,” a beauty shop that combines treatments including nails, eyelash extensions, spray tan, and cosmetics. She did, however, sell it after a year. She maintained her interior design business via reference throughout the start-up of her firm.

In 2015, the reality star met Gabrielle Requena, who had just created and released “Wrinkles Schminkles,” a beauty product line for older women that included smoothing kits for different body regions such as the eyes, neck, hands, and chest. Victoria tested the items and fell in love with them right away, so she decided to join the company. (3)

She was cast in the inaugural season of the Real Housewives of Sydney in April 2016, when she made her impact on reality television.

In 2017, the RHOS actress created a new website where she offers “Wrinkles Schminkles” (4) goods as well as other items including t-shirts, aprons, and coats with her distinctive sayings.

Today, Victoria Rees is one of the stars of “The Real Housewives of Sydney” and continues to work on interior design related assignments while still running her company.

Real Housewives of Sydney Storyline for Victoria Rees

Victoria Rees  joined “The Real Housewives of Sydney” in season 1 in 2017.

During her season, Victoria Rees had a spat with Lisa Oldfield, who was under investigation at the time for allegedly “bullying” her 13-year-old son. After Oldfield made negative remarks on her son’s Instagram profile, Rees filed a formal complaint at Rose Bay Police Station. That was Oldfield’s third trip to the station, according to reports.

“I sought legal advice and on the recommendation of my lawyers I made a statement with police,” the real housewife told The Daily Telegraph. “The fact is, you cannot use a carriage service to cyber bully a child.”

“Is your mother monitoring your social media activity?” Oldfield’s statement which has since been removed from the reality star’s son’s account. “Probably not. She’s probably on her 30th Skinny Bitch [cocktail].”

Victoria Rees was also involved in the show’s “first cat fight” with her co-star Athena X, whose faith was questioned at the welcome home party, with Victoria’s remarks about her being “Jatz Crackers” (aka crazy) resurfacing. The ladies proceeded to criticize one other, revealing who had said what, including Athena X informing the other women that Victoria used to be overweight.

Things seemed to have calmed down after the screaming, and Victoria requested to put on Athena X’s net cape, however their union was brief. “I just wanted to try it on, and do you know what I think of this Athena, you can go and get your f*cking cape and I’ll see you later,” the real housewife said after flinging the cape down the balcony.

While Victoria stormed off, the other housewives sat in stunned silence as they pondered what had transpired.
