Nicole O’neil is one of the RHOS actors that didn’t get along with Lisa Oldfield, who is unexpectedly a family friend of hers, throughout her season, despite knowing her for many years. Her father and Lisa’s husband David were socially acquainted, and although they didn’t always agree, she enjoyed listening to their intense disputes.

Lisa Oldfield stirred even more social media debate when she resorted to Instagram to criticize and accuse co-star Nicole O’Neil of purchasing Instagram followers.

The divisive reality star posted a snapshot of a room crammed with people sat in front of endless rows of laptops and composed, “Spare a thought for the thousands of low paid workers being exploited in third world countries in click farms to like and follow one of the unpopular @RHOSydney?” and added, “Surely there’s more worthy things she can do with her money than buy followers?”

When a fan inquired about who she was referring to, Lisa disclosed that she was referring to Nicole, who has around 500 more Instagram followers than she has.

“Let’s just say I hope she doesn’t take her children to the click farm to point at the poor people like she does when she’s on a plane,” she replied. “Money can’t buy class, but it can buy followers.”

Lisa’s reaction alluded to a contentious episode from the show’s first season, in which Nicole discussed travelling business class with her kids Neve and Newal. “During the flight, I take them and I walk through the whole plane and I see people and they are squashed in with their knees,” she said on-camera and continued saying, “And I say, ‘Look, you see all those people. You are one of six who are sitting where you are sitting’.”
