“Blue’s Clues” OG Host Steve Message For The Show’s Grown-Up Fans

The sudden return of “Blue’s Clues” host Steve made everyone cry a bucket of tears.

Steve played by the same name Steve Burns, withdrew the Nick Jr. program “Blue’s Clues” about a blue dog, named Blue, who leaves pieces of information in a 2002 scene, “Steve Went to College,” giving off facilitating obligations to his sibling, Joe.

On Tuesday, the OG host Steve gotten back to talk straightforwardly to fans who might have felt his unique series takeoff unexpected, and later explained, updated fans, what happened to his life.

“Hi, you got a second?” Steve, who returned dressed in the same yet refreshed iconic green striped polo he used to wear, asks in the clasp presented on the Nick Jr. Twitter account, a Nickelodeon channel for little youngsters.

“You remember how when we were younger, we used to run around and hang out with Blue, and find clues, and talk to Mr. Salt, and freak out about the mail, and do all the fun stuff? And then one day, I was like, ‘Oh hey, guess what? Big news… I’m leaving,'” Steve recalled saying farewell with a packed-up backpack and suitcase vanished into a two-dimensional school transport. He also recalled how he introduced his brother Joe and handed off hosting duties to him.

“I realize that was kind of abrupt. I just kind of got up and went to college. And that was really challenging, by the way, but great because I got to use my mind and take a step at a time, and now I literally am doing many of the things that I wanted to do.”

“And then look at you,” this is where the heartfelt message that touched millions of fans began. “Look at all you have done and all you have accomplished in all that time.”

“It’s just so amazing, right? I mean, we started out with clues and now it’s what? Student loans, and jobs, and families and some of it has been kind of hard, you know? I know you know,” the host likewise shared how all the assistance you gave him along the way is still benefitting him today.

“I guess I just wanted to say that after all these years, I never forgot you… ever and I’m super glad we’re still friends.”

His return hit home among numerous watchers, raising sensations of sentimentality and youth solace. In the wake of leaving the show, Burns proceeded to make music with Flaming Lips maker David Fridmann and drummer Steve Drozd.

“Blue’s Clues” first debuted in Nick Jr. in 1996. It has since had a reboot series, “Blue’s Clues and You,” which premiered in 2019, facilitated by Filipino-American Broadway entertainer Joshua Dela Cruz, according to INQUIRER. Also, just this week, the kids’ network released a singalong video with all the hosts.
