Champagne Papi has had 49 Grammy nominations throughout his career and has won four.
On Monday, Canadian rapper Drake pulled out of the Grammy Awards, withdrawing his two nominations for the music industry’s top prizes. The news was first reported by Variety.

Last month, Drake received two Grammy nominations in the rap category: best rap album for “Certified Lover Boy” and best rap performance for “Way 2 Sexy.”
The rapper and his management made the request to withdraw from consideration, according to the sources, but offered no rationale for the decision. As per the reports, the Recording Academy website was modified on Monday to remove Drake’s nominations off the Grammy list.
Drake has a tense history with the Grammys, despite the fact that his album “Certified Lover Boy” was one of the best-selling albums of 2021. Last year, he chastised the Grammys for excluding fellow Canadian singer, The Weeknd off the list of nominees despite the success of his album “After Hours” and its smash track, “Blinding Lights.” He also refused to perform at the 2019 event and then took to the stage to critique the program.

“I wanna let you know we’re playing in an opinion-based sport not a factual-based sport,” he remarked upon winning the Grammy for his hit “God’s Plan.”
“This is a business where sometimes it’s up to a bunch of people who might not understand what a mixed race kid from Canada has to say or a fly Spanish girl from New York or anybody else,” he added.
Variety also indicated that some thought that his choice was influenced by the fact that he was included in lawsuits stemming from last month’s tragedy at the Astroworld event in Houston, where ten people were killed after a crowd erupted during headliner Travis Scott’s performance, which included a surprise appearance by Drake.
Drake, on the other hand, is set to appear alongside Kanye West at the “Free Larry Hoover” charity event in Los Angeles on Thursday, making that explanation seem doubtful.

The renowned artist has already won four Grammy Awards in the past, including two in 2017 for “Hotline Bling,” one in 2013 for “Take Care,” and one in 2019 for “God’s Plan.”
Grammy nominees are picked and voted on by members of the Recording Academy. With 11 nominations, jazz artist Jon Batiste led the pack, followed by Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, and H.E.R. The winners will be revealed on January 31 during a ceremony in Los Angeles.
Reactions to Drake Pulls Out His 2 Grammy Nominations
Drake withdrew from the Grammy's because he wasn't nominated for Album Of The Year or Record Of The Year. He should've been and I'd withdraw too if I were him. Dude broke every single streaming record there is this year. To not be voted for album of the year is an insult.

Drake tryna make a stance by revoking his Grammy noms... but the only way to get a Grammy nom is if you and your team submit your work to be considered. So why would drake and his team submit them only to say "jk" 😭 it's giving marketing ploy
