We are delighted with the fact that you have both come to terms with each other.
This week, the “Real Housewives of Orange County” newcomer revealed that she and husband Ryne Holliday are back together after a month-long breakup that turned out to be “healing” for them.
In an exclusive interview with Page Six, she emphasizes that their temporary separation happened after resolving flaws in their relationship during the successful reality show’s first season, “I’m just going to be honest. We actually separated. We separated and then lived life without each other.”
“Sometimes I think you need to get a little shaken up before you really appreciate the other person,” the real housewife added.
As per the dermatologist, she and the stay-at-home dad butted heads on Wednesday’s episode of “RHOC” over a shared lack of respect for their various responsibilities in parenting their three children: twins Cece and Vince, and Valor.
Seemed disinterested in addressing their difficulties on camera, Holliday moved away from the talk and made an escape from his family’s house in Orange County as well, not long after. For the short-term uncoupling, Armstrong explains, “It was not easy, but it just reached a point where there was nothing left to do.”
She gradually came to appreciate her husband’s contributions to their family over the weeks she spent without him, “It made me see how much he actually does and how difficult that is.”
“Like taking the kids to school everyday, picking them up everyday, sports, making sure their homework’s done … He does a lot for the family that, from my perspective, I may have overlooked.” According to Armstrong, Holliday returned from the vacation with a new respect for all of her hard work.
“Ryne came back and he was very genuine and very kind and has been loving,” she continued. “That’s the person [I fell in love with]. I’ll take that person every day. I’m like, ‘Where’ve you been? Where’ve you been for the last 12 years? We missed you!’”
They first assumed their split would be permanent, but they are thankful that they were able to avoid the dreaded “reality TV curse” that has plagued so many “Real Housewives” marriages over the years.
The early phases of Armstrong and Holliday’s split will play out as Season 16 of “Orange County” proceeds, despite the fact that they are now in a “great place.”
“The Real Housewives of Orange County” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
Reactions to ‘RHOC’ Star Dr. Jen Armstrong And Husband Ryne Holliday Are Back Together
Dr. Jen Armstrong is an extreme narcissist. I feel so bad for Ryne, her husband. She’s not only extremely boring but it’s always ALL about her. I don’t know how her deals with her constant neediness. Boo, you suck. 😒🤦🏼♀️😒 #RHOC

It’s obvious that Jen Armstrong’s husband doesn’t want to put all their business out there on camera. But, I think she knows she has no storyline or anything to bring to the table so she wants the pity card from the viewers 😒 #RHOC #Bravo
