The rapper is the most recent celebrity to come out as non-binary, following a growing list that also includes Demi Lovato, Sam Smith, Elliot Paige, Cara Delevingne Rose McGowan, Miley Cyrus and others.

In spite of the artist’s lack of response to the social media update, followers swiftly showed their joy and flocked to social media to show them love and nice remarks. Starting with rapper Yeat who tweeted, “Yo they.” Uzi then replied, “Yo yeat.”

Additionally, this comes just after they revealed their next EP, “Red & White,” which will be the follow-up to their last album “Eternal Atake” and “Pluto x Baby Pluto,” their collaborative project with Future. They are also promoting “Space Cadet,” another song from the forthcoming EP.

Uzi has a long history of supporting the LGBTQ+ community. In fact, back in 2019, they posted an Instagram photo of themselves wearing a black Nike “Be True” T-shirt with the Pride flag to show their support for the community.

In an interview with GQ Magazine, the rapper even expressed their positive opinions on women’s clothes, saying, “The women’s section is waaaay better than the men’s section. Always. The women’s section, you usually don’t have to get things tailored. It’s usually just on point.”
