A Philadelphia nurse lashing out at a pregnant Black patient, the act was caught on camera and has now gone viral on TikTok.
The woman named Jillian had visited the doctor’s office to get a letter for her maternity leave. The scenario deteriorated into laptop case swings and the police being summoned rather than trying to resolve the issue per her desire.
Jillian visited the Philly Pregnancy Center to request a doctor’s note. The nurse practitioner starts by asking Jillian for a doctor’s note before inquiring about her pregnancy and accusing her of forging records of her prenatal care.

The nurse asked the patient, Jillian, saying; “What were you thinking about when you got pregnant? That you wasn’t going to work?”
The pregnant woman explains to the nurse that because of the pain she is in, Jillian finds it difficult to express how she is feeling, despite the nurse practitioner’s statement that she knows the pregnant woman’s pain threshold since she inspected her cervix.
Jillian, who is seven months pregnant, said in a later video that the doctor was forceful throughout the examination. After Jillian shows her face to the camera during the debate, the nurse practitioner begins striking her with a laptop case.

When Jillian takes a video of the nurse practitioner, she also threatens to contact the police. The clinic said Jillian was an “upset patient” and lacked the required paperwork to be excused from work after the TikTok video went viral.
Other medical professionals on Twitter criticized the nurse practitioner’s attitude and demanded that the facility take the necessary action.
