Her eye is so swollen that it's almost completely shut.
If you pay close attention to the season three trailer for “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,” which debuted earlier this year, you’ll see that Heather Gay, one of the cast members, has an alarming black eye that is highly noticeable.
Heather made the decision to provide some information about it, revealing what actually transpired on the show’s Dec. 21 episode, as more people grew disturbed by her look.
During her confessional acquired by E! News, the reality star clarified that she didn’t claim she doesn’t recall what occurred, but rather that she’s keeping quiet about it since it violates the first fight club rule.
Throughout the whole episode, Heather continues to be unable to recall what happened the night before. After their dinner and club outing with a Marilyn Monroe theme, security camera footage showed that several cast members went by her hotel room for some late-night partying.
The day following the incident, she also told her fellow housewife Jen Shah that she didn’t want to cause any issues. The Bravolebrity also had a gut instinct that the other cast members were aware of what transpired, but she believes they are reluctant to discuss it.
However, another co-star, Lisa Barlow, thinks someone could have punched her in the face; Heather says she had a feeling that someone might have done so, but they don’t want to talk about it.
Heather chose to ignore the subject of her concerning the black eye, but Lisa, Danna Bui-Negrete, and Whitney Rose are unable to ignore how serious it is, even suspecting Jen of being the culprit.
They also believe Heather was only concealing her wrongdoing to protect her from further legal issues, considering that the production for the season had not yet begun when Jen pleaded guilty to her telemarketing fraud case.
Given her statement, it was clear that Heather knew who had hurt her, but she decided to deny the incident because she claimed that the person she was attempting to protect was someone much closer to her.
Although this is a worrying incident, she is happily unharmed. If she chooses to identify the individual who struck her, it will be intriguing to see.
Wednesday at 8 p.m., “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” will be on television on Bravo. Returning cast members are Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and Jen Shah. Angie Katsanevas, Danna Bui-Negrete, and Angie Harrington are cast members’ friends.
