He is obviously sick of the lies being spread about him on the show. He wants the world to know the truth and will not take it anymore.
Chris Bassett recently took to social media to thank the production team of “The Real Housewives of Potomac” for, in his words, “exposing the lies” that the women featured on the show continue to tell about him.
Bassett is clearly not happy with how the housewives misrepresent him and the lies that take place on the show. It is clear that he feels like he is being unfairly portrayed on the show.
Despite that, he obviously had the production team of “RHOP” behind his back as he thanked them on Twitter for “exposing the lies” these women tell about him.
He wrote: “i would just like to again, thank #rhop production and the team in the editing room for continuing to show the LIES these women continue to tell about me.”
His thank-you tweet follows his wife Candiace Dillard’s update on his condition following the speculations that had been circulating about him. She said that he was “not well.”

“He was not well. As Dorinda [Medley] would say, ‘Not well, bitch,'” Dillard made this statement while promoting her part in the scripted TV drama “Hush” from ALLBLK on an episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast.
“He was not well for quite a while. It was a mind eff for him to have this picture painted of him because that’s what Gizelle [Bryant] did.”
Bryant made the startling claim that Bassett made her feel really uneasy in their one-on-one talk behind the scenes during the “RHOP” Season 6 reunion. She then confessed this to Dillard during a group dance shown in October, confounding the latter.
Dillard also said that Bryant created a narrative that was utterly false, degrading, and inaccurate and that she painted a picture of her husband that wasn’t his.
Furthermore, she said that despite them being shocked by the quantity of messages and remarks from those who were calling it BS, “there’s always that 0.5 percent that says, ‘Oh, he did it,’ or whatever they say.”
“There are headlines that will live on the internet that insinuate that my husband is a predator, and you can’t undo that. And that’s why it’s so damaging for people to be able to make things up,” she continued. “It’s hurtful, and he was very hurt by it.”
Now, Bassett is currently doing “better,” according to Dillard. The real housewife was likewise asked about her future on the popular reality program and claimed she wouldn’t leave until she stopped “having fun.”
Bassett has been subject to a lot of lies and false narratives since appearing on “Real Housewives of Potomac.” It’s unlikely that his latest outburst will do anything to repair his relationship with the women, but it’s clear that he’s not going to stay silent about their lies any longer.
