This is a shocking revelation knowing how great their chemistry is.

The Oscar-nominated actor and director Bradley Cooper, who briefly appeared in the blockbuster film “Sex and the City,” discussed his experience of working with Sarah Jessica Parker Parker in a resurfaced interview.

Before Copper rose to fame in Hollywood, the actor made a brief appearance in the said film and even had the chance to shoot a kissing scene with SJP. However, the on-screen kiss was something he described as a “nightmare.”

In an interview with Metro, acquired by Irish Central, Cooper said he had a great time on the show and felt at home on the set. However, he faced some difficulties while filming the scene with Parker since the actress didn’t like tongue while kissing.

He disclosed, “Right before we shot the scene, this guy came up, and I think he said, ‘SJP does no tongue. No tongue, man’. And I was like, ‘Who’s SJP?’ So she kisses me, then straddles me in the front of the car, and all I kept thinking about was keeping my tongue as far back in my mouth as possible. It was a nightmare. But she wasn’t – she was great.”

Cooper also faced another challenge during his brief stint on the show. In a separate interview with Backstage, he revealed that his character had to drive a stick shift, which he didn’t know how to do. This prompted him to take a quick driving lesson using a Volkswagen, and he thought he could handle the scene.

However, he found himself struggling to drive a 1962 Porsche convertible with a clutch that made it feel like he was operating a bus. Because of that, he had to be replaced by a stand-in until the cast and crew of the famous film arrived at their location.

The actor’s skill at kissing has previously drawn criticism. Jennifer Lawrence reportedly called him a “wet kisser” during the second take in one of the scenes of their 2012 film “Silver Linings Playbook,” but Cooper said he did not take it as a compliment.

Still, Cooper claimed that despite the difficulties he had in “Sex and the City,” he cherished his time there and valued the opportunity to work with Parker. The small part was one of Cooper’s previous roles before he rose to fame in Hollywood for his work in “The Hangover” and “A Star Is Born.”
