This leaves a lasting memory on a minor fan’s lips.

Country music superstar Carrie Underwood is known for her enthralling live performances and strong fan relationships. But one concert, in particular, stands out as a truly unforgettable experience, both for the young fan involved and for the audience watching.

In a spontaneous act, Underwood stunned her Louisville, Kentucky, crowd during the “Blown Away” tour stop by inviting a little child named Chase Kurnick on stage and giving him his first kiss.

Chase had been holding up a sign that read, “Carrie, Be My First Kiss,” and Underwood, who is constantly looking for ways to connect with her audience, brought him up on stage to make his wish come true. She even joked that her husband might be looking for him later.

When asked how they would do it, Chase replied, “Lip to lip,” to which Underwood called him “the smartest kid ever” before giving him a peck on the lips. This created a lasting memory for him and the concert-goers alike.

Despite the excitement of the experience, Underwood made it plain that kissing fans would not become a common occurrence at her concerts. She assured the Louisville crowd, as well as Chase, that it was a one-time thing.

However, the singer makes an effort to provide each of her audiences with a unique experience since she wants them to feel as though they have received their money’s worth, which is something she emphasized in multiple interviews before.

During an interview with The Orange County Register at that time, she said, “I really enjoyed putting all of this together, and more than anything, I want people to feel like they get their money’s worth because money is tight, and there are not a lot of extra funds lying around. If someone spent that money to come see us play, I just want them to feel like it was so totally worth it.”

Underwood even acknowledged that she frequently receives requests from fans at her performances, such as “Can I sing with you?” or “Will you sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to me?”

However, she admits that she sometimes finds the signs and requests distracting, as it is difficult to sing while reading. Nevertheless, she values their support and strives to make each of her concerts special.

Unfortunately, her act was deemed inappropriate by multiple critics and social media users. Although the incident happened many years ago, it is still brought up by fans and media outlets.

Given the age gap between Underwood and the young fan, some have questioned the kiss, saying it was improper. Some have defended the singer by saying that the kiss was probably harmless and intended to be amusing for the fan.
