Todd went on to date cast member Kandi Burruss while working on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” which they both tried to keep under the radar to prevent creating trouble with the producers of the show. They eventually chose to publicize their relationship and expected to have to quit the show. Rather of being fired, Tucker was invited to take part in the cast and went on to work as a production manager on another Bravo show. Since he and Burruss started dating, Todd has had a tense relationship with Kandi’s mother, Mama Joyce, and the ups and downs of their relationship have been documented on the program.

Todd and Kandi married on April 4, 2014, and their wedding was documented for the five-part special “Kandi’s Wedding,” which aired on Bravo in June 2014. On January 6, 2016, the couple had son Ace, and on November 22, 2019, they received daughter Blaze (through surrogate). Tucker has a daughter from a prior relationship, Kaela (born June 17, 1996), and is the stepfather of Riley (born August 22, 2002), Burruss’s child from her relationship with Russell “Block” Spencer.

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are one of The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s rare surviving marriages. They met while they were both working on the same program. While the pair credited Phaedra Parks with arranging their meeting, Burruss claimed in a new docuseries that her show’s producer is to blame.

Tucker works as a line producer on The Real Housewives of Orange County. Despite the fact that he wasn’t assigned to Burruss, he was pulled to her right away. During the fourth season’s cast trip to Africa, Tucker and Burruss struck up a conversation. But it was Parks who told Burruss she thought she and Tucker would make a terrific couple before they even spoke.

Though Tucker was intrigued, his job on the program prohibited him from socializing with the cast, Parks stated she thought Tucker was good and a “lovely person.”

Burruss and Tucker were definitely in love, but Mama Joyce, Burruss’ mother, was not pleased with their relationship. Mama Joyce charged Tucker of living off of her daughter after the two moved in together. Tucker had quit his job on the show, but he continued to produce other projects, so she was wary.

Parks was even confronted by Mama Joyce about setting up Burruss and Tucker. “Why would you set her up with one of the workers?” Mama Joyce questioned Parks, telling Parks that she should have put Burruss up with one of her legal friends instead.

Despite Mama Joyce’s interference, Tucker and Burruss married in April 2014 in a Coming to America-themed wedding. They’ve subsequently had two children and are the proud proprietors of a number of successful enterprises.

Tucker was recently accused of kissing two women and cheating on his wife, according to rumors. The pair recently celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary, despite the suspicions. The anonymous reported to the popular gossip social media handle that they observed Todd Tucker kissing two women at a bar in Atlanta on July 10, according to a screenshot of a dialogue with one of the page’s followers.

In which they wrote, “he (Todd) was grabbing on women, two specifically, holding hands, kissing their necks, whispering in their ear. I was like shookth.’’ The source further added, ‘’His table was across from ours and he was like out in the open against the bar flirting physically like outside his booth. I’m like Lawddd Mama Joyce was right.”

After Phaedra admitted that she was the one who notified Porsha Williams about Kandi and her husband Todd Tucker’s alleged plan to drug Porsha and have sex with her during the season 9 reunion. (This is a rumor Kandi has rejected.)

Kandi and Todd celebrated the official opening of “The Old Lady Gang,” their southern cuisine cafe named after Kandi’s mother and aunts, Joyce, Bertha, and Nora. The inauguration of the Atlanta restaurant was a significant component of Kandi and Todd’s RHOA story line during season 9.

She had a lot of business obligations and media engagements when she returned home when she wasn’t shooting the show. They were also at differences before their baby show, which was the focus of the season 12 finale, when Tucker didn’t talk to Burrus’ mother, Mama Joyce, at a restaurant when they were all present. Despite this, Tucker apologized to Burrus for everything that had happened recently while addressing on stage at the baby shower. All seemed to be fine between the two now. Tucker and Mama Joyce appear to be doing well as well.
