It is time to bid her farewell because she is officially leaving the show.
Maya Vander, a founding member of the cast who will no longer be appearing in Season 6 of the popular reality series “Selling Sunset” on Netflix, has decided to leave the program.
The reality star’s abrupt departure was due to her desire to prioritize raising her family while also expanding her Miami real estate company, according to a statement released by production sources to TMZ. She also changed her real estate license lately in order to join the Compass real estate company.
This statement follows the heartbreaking news of her pregnancy that she shared through her Instagram stories on Wednesday. Sadly, Vander miscarried only six months after the stillbirth of her baby.
“I had a very crazy week,” she wrote. “Miscarriage after 10 weeks … following my stillbirth … but my kids and my husband are absolutely my blessing and I am so lucky to be their mother!”
“They bring joy and happiness to my life!! Hug and love the people you care about. Don’t take things for granted!” she concluded, adding a prayer hands emoji.
After welcoming her son in April 2019 and daughter in May 2020, Vander announced in July 2021 that she was expecting her third child. Tragically, she had a stillbirth five months later which she also shared the news to her fans.

That’s too bad, she had a great sense of humour and seemed to always know what was up.
