Both comedians are dealing with such serious allegations.
Aries Spears, who recently made headlines, and Tiffany Haddish are now the targets of severe charges and may even be named in a lawsuit for child sexual abuse as a result of allegations that they groomed children as young as 4 and 7 years old.
In a complaint obtained by Page Six, the two comedians are accused of pressuring Jane Doe, then 14 years old, now 22 years old and the legal guardian of this case, and John Doe, then 7 years old, now 14 years old, into filming sexual activities.
The aforementioned pornographic skits were shot in 2013 and 2014. Haddish won Jane’s trust at that point and persuaded her to participate in a pornographic video shoot, according to a separate report from TMZ.
On a separate date, Haddish took John to a home where Spears and she had sexually assaulted him while filming “Through a Pedophiles Eyes,” for the “Funny or Die” series.
The siblings further stated that their mother was good friends with Haddish, which inadvertently served as a means of introduction. Their mother claims that she and the comedian became close while going through their own divorces.
For her part, Haddish’s attorney Andrew Brettler, released a statement to Buzz Feed News, denying the serious allegations, saying, “Plaintiff’s mother … has been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years.”
“Every attorney who has initially taken on her case — and there were several — ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down.”
“Now, [the mother] has her adult daughter representing herself in this lawsuit. The two of them will together face the consequences of pursuing this frivolous action,” her attorney’s statement concluded.
On the other hand, neither Spears nor his attorneys have yet issued a statement addressing the allegations.
