Delilah Belle Hamlin Hospitalized For Accidental Overdose

After becoming "dependent" on Xanax, Delilah Belle Hamlin claims she sought medical attention.

In a new Instagram video posted on Tuesday, Nov. 2, Delilah Belle Hamlin states she became addicted to Xanax and other prescription drugs when a doctor overprescribed the medication, causing an overdose.

Hamlin went to see a doctor in May because she was suffering severe panic attacks as a result of her obsessive compulsive condition (OCD).

“I found a psychiatrist and he over-prescribed me. He over-prescribed me with one medication that one of my friends takes for 10 milligrams and he gave me 20 milligrams a day,” the 23-year-old model revealed.

“And then he gave me three milligrams of Xanax a day, so my body got dependent on Xanax number one, and number two I over-dosed,” she continued.

“I didn’t mean to at all. I over-dosed on this one medication called Propranolol. And I took Benadryl with it and for some reason; I ended up in the hospital.”

“I wasn’t a drug addict,” Hamlin stated, “but my body was dependent on [Xanax] because of how much the doctor had prescribed me,” she explained.

Hamlin found a treatment clinic in Arizona that might address her health problems with the help of her family, including her parents Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin.

“I thought this place was going to be like, a place to, like, cure me, just cure everything, help me,” she shared. “Everything got to the point where sometimes I couldn’t even walk to the toilet.”

“But unfortunately, I was I think a medical risk so I was politely asked to leave after three weeks of being there,” she added. “That was really hard because, in my mind I was like; well if I’m too sick for this place then I’m too sick for anywhere.”

Hamlin began having seizures “left and right” in July due to brain inflammation and the seizures “scared” many of the physicians at the institution, prompting them to urge her to leave. She arrived home on Monday.

“I would really love some support and some recommendations if you’re in the LA area,” she concluded. “I’m on a really strict diet. I take a crazy amount of supplements to detox my body. I’ve been sober from alcohol for two months.

In 2018, the reality personality also went to rehab to address mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.

#Delilahbelle #RHOBH how sad. Why doesn’t her mother use her connections to find her a good doctor? What about Yo? Can’t she recommend? Also, She doesn’t eat sugar,meats or glutens. She is very thin&says she lost weight. Her body could be malnourished unable to fight stuff.

My heart breaks for Delilah Belle Hamlin. Living with a chronic illness isn’t easy and she has a long, tough road ahead of her but she can fight this 🙏. No one deserves this. Those of us who r sick know how awful it is, so let’s include her in r prayers tonight.
