Even before appearing on ITV's reality program, Emily Atack's physique was criticized on social media.

Social media has long been unhealthy for everyone since it sets the standard for what it means to be sexy or fit, and Emily Atack is no exception to this treatment because her body has been attacked on social media for years.

The reality star opened up about it while on ITV’s reality show, “I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here” in 2018, saying, “My weight has long been criticized [on social media], so wearing a bikini in the jungle was a daunting prospect.”

It may have been a snide remark, but Emily didn’t take it that way. Those remarks served as motivation for her. “The experience forced me to rebuild my relationship with my body; because there was nowhere to hide, I had to embrace those insecurities, and I returned from Australia feeling free.”

“Eating out less over the past year, I’ve inadvertently lost a stone – but my confidence doesn’t hinge on a number on the scales. My relationship with social media is still tricky. The online world is a double-edged sword.”

“My DMs should be a safe space, but everyone’s allowed to say what they like,” she noted, mentioning that social media is a part of her job and thanked her supporters for their support.

Emily Atack talked about her diet and what she eats daily.

Emily previously indicated that she ate less during the year she was on the reality program, which she continues to follow, and that this helped her lose weight.
The actress follows intermittent fasting, which is suitable for her since she doesn’t really eat breakfast in the mornings and only eats around midday.

“I do intermittent fasting. I don’t have breakfast – I’m not a morning person – and I’ll eat my first meal, usually a chicken salad, around midday,” she said in an interview with Women’s Health UK.

“Mid-afternoon, I’ll have a snack and then another meal early evening, which is normally a pasta-based dish or a HelloFresh delivery if I’m busy,” she added, counting that she doesn’t deny her body what it wants.

Does Emily Atack work out?

In the same interview with the publication, Emily likewise shared that she does exercise, specifically, boxing, not just to lose weight but for her mental health as well.

“I’m now trying meditation. I’m quite spiritual. I believe in positive energy and manifestation – that what you put out into the universe, you get back.”

Emily Atack experienced unintentional weight loss.

Aside from putting an effort to shed some pounds, Emily had an unintentional weight loss that resulted in her losing a stone during the Covid-19 lockdown.

“I think because I haven’t been able to the pubs, I’m healthier. I’ve been working out a lot in my garden, which I’m very lucky to have,” she said at that time to MailOnline.

“It wasn’t my goal to lose weight, but I think it’s down to not going to pubs and restaurants. I work out more so for my mental health, the goal is never to lose weight but to remain as happy and healthy as I can be.”

She even revealed that she had been boozing in lockdown like everyone else but is now trying to limit her drinking. She gushed, though, at the idea of returning to the bars, but this time with greater caution in what she drank.

“With that, we all laugh and say, ‘classic Brits just want to get back to the pub’, but the pub is so much more than a pub,” she remarked. “It’s where we share our deepest and darkest secrets and have every type of conversation. It’s our happy place. I shall be doing the Conga when I get back!”

Emily Atack weighed 11st and was the happiest she'd ever been.

Emily remarked that despite her efforts to reduce weight, she was the happiest she’d ever been at 11st because it taught her to accept her body more, particularly its curves.

“I’ve realized that I’m probably the biggest I’ve ever been,” she stated to Closer. “I weigh 11st. I’ve never weighed 11st, but I’m doing everything I’ve always wanted to do.”

“My life is the best it’s ever been, and I get more compliments now than I ever have before,” the actress went on to say. “I look back at photographs of when I was slimmer, looking a bit gaunt, and I was definitely unhappier.”
