This surgeon even stated that she needed to get her face fixed.

In today’s society, looking nice in and out of the camera seems to be a prerequisite if you’re a celebrity. It’s as though they had no justification for looking ugly or even old.

Paulina Porizkova

This is what Paulina Porizkova, who is long advocate for older women, is going through right now after a cosmetic surgeon criticized the way she looks and stated that she needed to get her face fixed.

Porizkova called out and clapped back at the surgeon on Instagram after he released a video showcasing the model’s face and pointing out all of its flaws. The video has since been taken down.

She shared a picture of herself bare face and wrote, “I found this photo, which I have posted here before, (and thought I looked great in) reposted here on IG by a cosmetic surgeon, and discussing in detail what I needed done.”

“Those pesky hollows under my cheeks could be gotten rid of with fillers, Botox for my forehead, those wrinkles on the side of my mouth, and the chords in my neck, and a whole bunch of lasers to tighten and smooth and tighten everything.”

“This is what an older woman in the public eye gets to deal with. I’m told my face needs “fixing”. It has somehow gone “wrong” by aging. Is it any wonder that most of us who have the means will resort to some forms of fixing what we’re told is broken?” she continued.

The actress also mentioned receiving plasma pen and laser treatments. Although she has learned to embrace much of it and is happy of how she looks for her age, she still finds it difficult to accept everything. She further emphasized how it is shameful to tell a woman what she has to change about herself in order to be considered attractive.

Porizkova then concluded her post by saying, “Find what you think is beautiful in your friends and point it out. The best way to support one another is to celebrate what is already there.”

They make money off the machine. Your probably isn’t shiny enough, either. Thank you for not participating in the mass deluding of women.

Note to self: Be happy I'm a 52-year-old man because nobody is criticizing my aging process. Be. Very. Happy.

This, too, is rubbish. She looks great. I decided long ago that I was going to accept what Nature had in store for me. To me it is a sign of a sick society that pressures women to literally carve up and manhandle their face to chase some nonsense of looking like days gone by.
