In Season 2 of “Shahs of Sunset,” Reza reevaluates everything, including his devotion to his lover, his friendship with MJ, and his long-standing grudge against his grandma. Reza describes himself as being in a full-blown “gay life crisis.” A meaningful relationship with a good guy is what MJ is looking for now that she has realized her mother was mistaken about her. However, her party girl tendencies appear to be catching up with her.
In the meantime, Mike has met a stunning woman he believes to be “the one,” but the fact that she isn’t Jewish puts their relationship in jeopardy before it ever gets off the ground.GG is launching a business with her sister and is finally moving to seek a job, but during the process, her explosive anger continues rearing its ugly head. Asa runs into financial difficulties while pursuing her ambition to become a Persian pop priestess and market her famed “Diamond Water.”
Lily Ghalachi took Sammy Younai’s position after she quit the program after Season 1. The new girl Lilly appears to have it all: she is wealthy, attractive, successful, and has a powerful, rich lover who she has had on and off. However, Lily struggles to balance her successful swimsuit brand in Los Angeles with her boyfriend, who lives in Houston beneath her exterior of Persian perfection.

Episode 1 - The Whiskey Makes You Frisky
Asa Soltan Rahmati returns to her Venice villa at significant financial risk. Mercedes Javid and her mother argue at a birthday meal, but MJ is taken aback by Vida’s venomous retort.
Reza Farahan makes friends with the new Persian Princess, Lilly Ghalichi, and tries introducing her to the group. Still, things fall apart when Golnesa Gharachedaghi and her new companion Omid overindulge in alcohol and become very sexual during dinner.
Episode 2 - The Persian Nose Business
After spitting on Vida during a birthday dinner, MJ visits a therapist to discuss her problems with her mother and learns that she has more baggage than she initially realized. Mike Shouhed is in love with a girl, but they are having trouble getting along. Then, during a pool party, a perceived insult causes tempers to flare, and Asa and GG’s simmering animosities reach a startling conclusion.
Episode 3 - I Love You But I Don't Like You
GG’s behavior during the pool party causes Asa and Reza to divide the group by drawing a clear line in the sand. GG’s ambitions to become a business tycoon are sidetracked when she and her sister get into a heated argument.
At the same time, Asa attempts to address her financial difficulties with a wild new company proposal that is so absurd it just could work. Reza grows increasingly frustrated with what he perceives as MJ’s character defects, and their disagreement could lead to the breakup of their friendship.
Episode 4 - You Shouldn't Have Worn That Dress
When Asa takes her famous lover to lunch at the office, many are surprised to see how traditional she has become. Mike finds it challenging to explain his cynical parents about his new job working with Reza. Reza and MJ encounter one another at a cocktail party for the first time since their fight, which forces them to confront their impulses of retaliation.
Episode 5 - Please Bring A Man
When GG and Omid go out for drinks, she learns that Omid has been hanging out with her friends but purposefully leaves her out of the invitations. Reza resolves to patch things up with MJ after speaking with his mother, as his feelings for MJ begin to change.
When MJ wishes to give herself a lavish birthday party with unique party goodies, she must decide whether to invite GG or the rest of the group.
Episode 6 - You Took An Ambien
Reza and Asa refuse to travel with GG, so the pals must make a difficult decision. The friends choose to go to Cabo for a long weekend. To show her sister that she has what it takes to run an ethical business, GG decides to capitalize on the fact that she won’t be able to go on vacation by getting busy and taking control of the launch party for her extensions line.
Everyone in the group is surprised when Asa says what they have all been wondering. The fact that the rest of the gang is making Lilly and MJ spend time together angers them.
Episode 7 - Mo-cedes, Mo Problems
After the violent altercation at dinner the previous night, the party manages to get along by having a good time on a giant yacht. As she works quickly to plan her launch party, GG seeks to spark the flames by introducing her love interest Omid.
After getting their Heyvoon Vasi on, Reza, Asa, and Mike realize Lilly may not be as well suited for the gang as they first thought, and MJ begins to win them back.
Episode 8 - Happy New Year
Asa may finally buy her diamond and develop the first tank of her high-energy, gem-infused water with the use of a substantial investment for “Diamond Water.” GG wonders if MJ is her only remaining friend when everyone else has banished her, and she spends a steamy day hanging out with her crush Omid.
Mike extends an invitation to Jessica to his Shabbat dinner so that he may finally meet his parents. However, he is worried if she will pass the Persian Mom test. Reza invites Mike, MJ, and Asa to join his family in Great Neck for the Rosh Hashanah festivities. Reza also considers reconciling with his grandmother after learning more about her difficult past.
Episode 9 - Hard For Me To Say I'm Sorry
MJ ultimately asks her mother to go to therapy with her after having a meltdown over lunch. Lilly is horrified to hear from a friend that Ali might not propose to her because running a bikini company is not a “respectable” occupation for a Persian bride. Behind the scenes, Reza arranges for everyone to meet with GG so they can choose whether to formally “register for divorce” or patch things up with him.
Episode 10 - Persh-a-Pelooza
Reza decides to declare his love for Adam and decides to take their relationship seriously. Mike believes that Jessica is “the one,” and he sets out to tell his Italian-Catholic parents. Lilly decided to permanently end her relationship with Ali, which has left her heartbroken and at a loss.
Asa performs for the first time in front of an audience as the headlining act at Persh-a-Pelooza, the Persian pop music festival she founded.
Episode 11 - Reunion Part I
As Bravo wraps up the dramatic second season of “Shahs of Sunset,” Reza, GG, Lilly, Asa, Mike, and MJ, recuperate with Andy Cohen for the extreme Farsi face-off. For the first time since the disastrous dinner party with the guests brandishing knives, GG and Asa are seen in a room together in Part 1 of the reunion, and the season finale’s attempts at making amends went horribly wrong.

Episode 12 - Reunion Part II
