Passengers were shocked by the 34-year-old woman as she attempted to open the plane’s door mid-air, claiming “Jesus told her.”

Typical news stories feature incidents where passengers protest on a flight or even assault flight attendants. However, there are also terrifying situations when an individual creates a situation that ends up putting the lives of all passengers in danger.

In one of these instances, a female Southwest Airlines passenger was restrained and taken into custody after attempting to open the plane’s side door. The event happened at the height of 37,000 feet, according to the New York Post.

The woman, identified as Elom Agbegninou, was a 34-year-old female passenger who pushed the cabin crew in an effort to get the airplane’s side door to open.

She tried to open the aircraft’s emergency exit, but her fellow passengers intercepted her and prevented her from doing so. 

However, with such an attempt of the fellow passenger to restrain her, Elom bit the other passenger on the leg and wouldn’t let go until the victim pressed their fingers into her jaw. 

After that, the woman began banging her head on the aircraft’s ground, yelling, “Jesus told her to fly to Ohio, and Jesus told her to open the door.”

Around 3:30 in the afternoon, due to the unexpected commotion, the Southwest flight was forced to perform an emergency landing in Little Rock at Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport – extending a three-hour journey into a six-hour trip.

Elom was brought away by security after landing safely, and the bitten victim received hepatitis shots and medicine.
